Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 925

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Reading from others posts that the girls are doing good and got eachother's back is comforting to me.  I was just reading this week is firearms training week!  Wish I was there to watch her shoot! and cheer her on.  i always told my kids your Momma is and always will be your biggest fan!  Cant wait to see her :)

I have made my reservations for PIR and will be staying at the Ramada Inn as well.  They had the best rates from what I could find.

Sunshine... so you have only received the form letter?  That seems odd that you haven't receive the box yet.  My SR was able to call on Sunday, but my phone never rang.  He spoke to his girlfriend.  It sounded like the guys were becoming good friends.  My son was sick with a terrible cold, so his VM sounded funny, but his tone was upbeat.  He did mention he had IT on Sunday for talking in chow line, but that isn't a shock...my son is a chatter box!!  I hope you get to hear from your hubby very soon!

Hugs to all of you!!

Thank you but I haven't received the box, form letter, or anything from my hubby.... I called his recruiter in order to get a mailing address... I've mailed ten greeting cards and haven't received anything.... Also, the only way I knew to get my military I.d. card was that I was told to call the DMDD office... But no nothing... If your son can say hi to my hubby his name is Carlos... And I'm concerned.... His recruiter did let me know that his PIR is on may 2, 2014.... I have not spoken to my husband since March 4....

Looking forward to meeting you!  Looks like Div 925 may just take Ramada over!!  Maybe have our own graduation party for the kidos at the hotel!  Lord knows they will deserve it!

Ok, went in tonight and made out reservations.  We are staying at the Ramada Inn.  Last time we were there, they had a meet & greet at the restaurant/bar area on Thursday night.

Thats another reason why i picked Ramada because of the meet and greet.

The Ramada hasn't posted a meet and greet in quite a while, not sure if they still have one. Have they told you they do? You may also want to check out Sarges M&G, he has a lot of info for you about PIR etc.

It was on the pamphlet sent with the formal letter.   I was planning on Sarge's as well.   Thanks for the info ellen :)

I see several of you have booked the Ramada Inn. If you haven't yet done so please check the reviews of the hotel, we have heatd both good and bad. They are currently in the process of renovating.

I just got my first 2 letters from my SR. He sounded so good it sure did ease my mind a lot. He says he wants a 2 hour shower 2 mins just is not enough. He got 2 teeth pulled and said he got to sleep for 2 days. I can't wait to see him.
Just got a call!! He sounds great!!
Awsome
