Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 925

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

mommab...how do you see other PIR graduations?...would love to see them also and also get an idea of what's to come...i am so excited for all of them.

Peepnblueyz,

You can see the PIR by going to Boot Camp Moms page.  Then under the Answers to Common questions, see the attached:

The RTC will stream PIR live at http://www.livestream.com/usnavyrtc and http://navylive.dodlive.mil/ beginning at 8:45 am CST on the day of PIR for those who are unable to attend in person.

Usually they keep them up for a couple days.  I watched the one from this past Friday to see where the state flag is that our daughter is going to carry. So now I know where to look for her. So very excited.

Good Morning Everyone,

Lets hope for a call today.... It's a beautiful Sunday morning in April and PIR is near.... Be well.

Fingers crossed Sunshine.  Love hearing the words "Hi Mom"

I bet... Me too.... Well not hi mom.... He says hey babe... Lol.... Oh is it odd that I haven't received the form letter with the names of his invited guests?

It is strange that you never received it.  Who else do you have going with you to PIR?  (we have my parents and my husband & I going - our son wanted to come so bad but he has  to go out to sea from 5/9 - 6/10 and with the baby on the way, I told him to save his money{to costly for him})  What you may want to do is ask him the next time that you talk to him.  I have thought of things that I want to make sure to ask our daughter, so I write them down, and when she does call I remember them all.  The brain doesnt want to work the way it used to.  LOL....

Hi MommaB,

I missed this msg. Sorry. I am traveling alone to Chicago for PIR. I took your advice and booked my flight this week. I have yet to receive the form letter but I'm going to be positive and go on faith. I will be there Thursday afternoon in order to get rest and ready for their big day.

Looking forward to meeting you in person, along with everyone else.  Our flights get into Milwaukee at 3pm so we should be there around 4-4:30.

i am leaving with daughter in laws parents on April 30 at 1145pm...arrive in Chicago at 545am...hope to get the chance to meet you all

Good evening everyone,

Hope everyone is doing good.  Three weeks from tomorrow, we will all be in root to Great Lakes.  Woot-Woot.  So very excited.  Now lets see if anyone from our division can answer the trivia Tuesday next week to get the pic of our men or women division up on face book.  That would be awesome.

MommaB

P.s.  We still should be able to see our recruits this Friday in the PIR video, as far as I know.

Good evening everyone,

Did anyone watch the PIR video from the week?  I found the flag that my daughter is carrying but cant tell if it is her. The hat is down a little far over the face and with her hair short and not the way she usually wears it, I cant tell.(also they arent any close up shots of the faces)  I feel like a horrible Mom not being able to say yes that is our daughter. If you SR's are in it then I know for sure it is her.  Can anyone else tell?

MommaB
