Welcome to the discussion group for division 952.
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I received two letters from my Daughter in the same envelope, one dated 9/26 and the other 9/30.
She said she was picked for either A div.or H? not sure what either are.
I sent her some writing material with stamps. I hope she gets it soon.
Recieved our first letter a few minutes ago.
Letter was wonderful, SR said they are keeping very busy and he had 6 jounal pages in the letter of what they are doing daily.
Oh my gosh, that is wonderful. Journals of daily events, how cool.
Got a phone call, it was short, but oh so wonderful to hear his voice. I hope to hear the same from all of you!
Happy to hear that you got a phone call, We got letters, but no call yet, My daughter left for boot camp on 9/17.
I did not know that her division was music division, I am thrilled to hear that.
We had our phone call 1700hrs last night from Nick. Very fast as he had to go to stand watch (2min. max) sounded good but extremly homesick. Ask all Moms and family to keep the prayers and letters coming.
Got my first call last night. Of all times my SRs twin and I were standing in line in the freezing cold for a concert in St. Louis, MO. But we got to talk quite a while, maybe 20 mins or so. She was crying and saying how much she hated it and wanted to come home. She will not be performing even though she's in the 952 div because she was put in there just because they need some more people in there and thats why they were a week ahead of her and everyone had already tried out so she didn't get to. She has recieved only 1 of our letters and both her sister and I have written several times. I was crying. People in line were staring like something stupid. It turned out the girl right behind us was in the National Guard and she said she we should try to keep her in because she will be happy when she makes it. Said she was unhhappy at basic too, but after that it all got better, which is basically what I told my daughter. She quit crying during the call but started again when we had to hang up, thats when I started.
She did say that she has made friends with a few other girls and a couple of them are also going to SA for MA training so they are hoping that they all get to go together.
