Thanks for the reminder about the gate pass.  I am hoping the weather will be good and dry.  Yes, I am getting very excited about the graduation and seeing my son.  I have not spoken to him since he left.   In his last letter he thought he would not leave for A School till monday.  But like they said they will not know there schedule till graduation day.

Received a phone call from my son.  It was so good to hear from him.  I couldn't help but cry when I first was talking to him.   I told him about the friends on N4Ms and facebook.  He is doing great.

My son called his Fiancee and she shared with us.  Our sailor is doing great.  Their Division rocks!!!  He is still not sure how much liberty he will have after PIR - they will have to stand for 3 hours - that is too long.  I wrote my son about N4M also and we told him about the FB pics, too.  They had heard of the sailor who passed away last Wednesday and he said it was bad for them to hear of this.  My son really has a great bunkmate and team mates in this Division, it sounds like they are working together.  They got a 7.5 out of 10 in Marlin Spike - that is awesome!

My SR is Ship 03 Div 056 and I am glad that they got a 7.5 out of to in Marlin Spike.  I was so excited to talk to him I forgot half of the questions that I wanted to ask him.  He did say the stomach flu/intestinal flu is going around.  He was one of the first to have it on 12/29 along with bronchitis.  Doing  100 % better  He also had his pictures taken..

Got a call from my daughter as well! She was able to call her brother too. She sounds great, other than being homesick, but says they are doing well. Everyone is getting antsy to get boot overwith. She told me about the sailor who died too. heart attack!! Pray for that family!! I felt bad when a lot of the kids were getting sick! I can imagine what his parents are going through right now. She reported that it was Great Teamwork on Marlin Spike and that it was fun.

So glad to hear you heard from your daughter!  Yes, I think they are ready to be done!  Praying for that sailor and his family, also.  Cried all day about it - I just can't imagine what they are going through.  They all need to pull together as a team, now as Battlestations is approaching!  Hope they give it all they got together!

We got a call too. 03 055  He called his friend first. Got to talk for about 15 minutes.  I missed his last call so this was the first I have spoken to him since he left.  I was gone on a trip when he left for boot. He sounded great!

So glad to hear you got a call.  Our Divisions are sister or brother Divisions I think!  Are you attending Sarge's meet and great?

12 days to go.  I have the suitcase out and open.  I am starting to put small stuff in baggies, batteries are charging (camera, phone and etc) right by the suitecase.  Making notes for things I need to do this week like finding a   kennel for my 14 year Bichon.  I can't seem to sit still at all. Just to excited. I am hoping this week will not go slow.

I know, I am so excited!! It's all I can think about, seeing my daughter. I got 2 letters from her with her requests, like makeup, another phone card and more envelopes for mail. We send and receive letters twice a week. Her brother is so excited to see her too. I've made some videos of my little grandchild for her to see. It's gonna be great!!!

We are all very excited as well!  Got the tissues!!!

Receiving letters, too but he mentioned we may not get much more as they are very very busy.  So proud of all of them!!!  They have to really pull together now - Go Navy!!!!

I was thinking the same thing bout writing and receiving letters in these last two weeks. It sounded like they have a lot to accomplish yet. I was hoping for another call, but I'm sure there will be one to brief me on final instructions. Otherwise, I'm ready!!! Did you get the info on Orange Scarve thing?

I also saw something about blue scarves. I don't know which one to wear. Go Navy!!
