That's awesome, Jessica! I'm very happy for you! But, I also didn't get a call today : ( But, I'm going to take the positive side, like Hannah, and say that no news is good news. We're almost there! Less than 11 days to go!
I got a phone call from my son yesterday around 6:15 edt. I was actually at work but at dinner. He sounded really good
Excited. Said he might have a day or only an hour to spend with us at PIR. He is grad and go. He said the phone call was a bonus for having a certain score on his test. I could hear the excitement in his voice that it (boot camp) is almost over. Navy wife, I told my son I had met you online. He told me that your husband is a really great guy and that he misses his little girl so much. He shows the guys pictures all the time. I know that brought a smile to my face, so I can imagine how it makes you feel. 10 days!
Hi!  I just happened to get on here right when you posted this!  That makes me so happy, thanks for passing that along.  I'm so glad you got a call, they are so close to the end.  I can't wait for the "i'm a sailor" call, I'll probably cry!
Oh I sent you a message by the way, asking about your son's name!  I know you said sometimes you don't check because you use your phone.
Hi ladies, got a letter today.  In one part he wrote that on Wed(today) he thought they were doing the gas chamber.  I don't know if they would have done it by now but I thought I'd pass it on.  I'll be thinking of all of our guys tonight!  Hope you're having a good week, and hope they are all ok!
One week from today Ladies!! I can't wait! How long is everyone going to be seperated from their guys? My husband will be in A school for 4 months is Texas and my daughter and I are in NY. I'm sad for more seperation but happy that we will at least be able to call each other.
I cannot wait!! I can't believe it's almost here already!! I'll be separated from husband for about 3 months. I'll continue to live in Chicago while he is completing A school in Biloxi, Mississippi.
I just got a great hour long phone call from my husband!! Anyone else hear from their guys? It really made my day! He sounded so happy to be almost done. They did the tear gas test a few days ago and he said it wasn't too bad. They had Captain's Cup today but didn't win. Battlestations are Tuesday night and we should get our calls Wednesday or Thursday!! 5 more days!
I just got one too!  I wasn't feeling well today and it just made everything so much better.  He sounded so upbeat and excited for graduation!  I cannot wait now.
Yes my son called me too and sounded ready for graduation. Six days!!!
Navywife, my son was amazed that I had spoken to you online. These guys has certainly made us proud!
That is so cool.  I think your son might be the one my husband said is his best friend there!

Our guys are doing battlestations tonite at 9:30. That means we should be getting the sailor call tomorrow! I hope they do good and all stay awake!
