Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 035 & 036

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Got letter from daughter and wonder if anyone knows when USS Hopper, Ship 3, Div. 35 might get their calls

My daughter is on ship 3 div 035 and I have received one letter but no phone call. I am holding my phone everywhere I go and always checking it.

We are trying to figure out which ship our son is on.  On the form letter, the ship address is SHIP 13 DIV 35/36  but on the return address he uses the address SHIP 03 USS Hopper Div 035.  We've been mailing letters to SHIP 13...will he get them?  Should we be sending them to SHIP 03 instead?

Will get them but will probably be a while since they will have to track him down.  KNow that sometimes the slash through the zero sometimes looks like a one.  Hoping they ge ttheir calls this week.  Send to Ship 03.

Hello all, we live in south Texas. Our son is in DIV 036. We are excited about graduation and can't wait to see him again. So far we received "the box" and his formal letter stating when he graduates (12/21). Hoping daily to get the phone call!! We are mailing him daily since receiving his address.

We are hoping also for a phone call, but none so far.....just sending lots of cards and have let his friends know where to send letters too....Don't quite understand how graduation will work out since we planned (and have tickets to fly back there and spend 4 days) if he will be on holiday leave...does he stay with us? and the funny part is we are staying on base at the Navy Lodge..just what I am sure he won't want to do...

Sorry for my rambling on....take care and hope you get the phone call soon.....

Hi, our Grandson is ship 3 Div 36....he will be going to A School in GL than on to San Diego for Sonar...

Have only received the form letter no other communication...we are from Calif...and have made our flight arrangements

already...Can't wait to see him...so very proud of all these young adults....

Hello all, I am from Southern Ohio and I got the form letter and box last Thursday and I have not recieved anything else. I am hoping for a phone call this Sunday.

My daughter is in the same division.  We have received a letter but no phone calls yet.  Hoping this week.  We are from California, how about you?

My daughter is on ship 03 div 035. I received her box and a letter so far, I am waiting everyday for a phone call. We are from Colorado.

Received my first personal letter yesterday. It was nice to hear from her. She also made a point of saying that she had met some really nice pople in her division. She was very upbeat and positive. Sure made me feel better knowing she was doing fine.
