OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 021 and 022

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Every Tuesday the FB page "U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command" posts a trivia question between 11:30-12:00 and the first person to answer it completely and correctly wins a picture posted on the website of their SR's division. My husband was SO CLOSE to winning today. How cool would that have been? We would have seen our SR's! :) We'll try again next Tuesday.

@ABitofWhimsy... I was hoping SOMEONE from our division would win today! I tried but was way too late answering stuck in a work meeting! Hopefully we can get it next week!

I was SO HOPING! We'll all have to keep trying. Odds are that one of us will get in there first at some point. :)

Received a letter from my son today... on the last page he said Happy Birthday in case he doesn't get to call home this Saturday and tell me... he had a lot of people from his division sign their name... made my day! see attached.

I see that my son signed your Birthday letter...That is too cute!! Happy Birthday!

I see my fiancés signature! That was so sweet of your son to do that for you!

That is the sweetest birthday card! But I am going to give my SR what for because he did not sign it. :( Sorry. I'm wishing you a Happy Birthday from the both of us! :)

awww man! well, at least he got some of them! so cool! and thank you...

There is a POSSIBILITY that he signed it and I just can't decipher it. Hahaha I think the signature under the word MOM is the closest to his signature. That tells you something. His signature is illegible. Anyway, that is so incredibly sweet of your boy. I bet that just made your day. It would have mine.

I can barely read my son's letters! I don't know what is going on with his handwriting! Today's letter really made my day. It brought me to tears.

Aww It would have done the same to me. I'm happy for you.

awe! Great card! My son signed it, and I am sending you best Birthday wishes, too! Thanks for sharing!
