Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 429 and 430
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

no letter yet. Maybe next week:)
B21 you can message diannep through email when the time is close and she is usually right about the day. That is a long ways away though. Do not get discouraged some of us do not get the mail as quick as others because we live further away and I am almost sure you will get a call soon from your SR. Keep the faith:)
Hi! My son is in DIV 430 - we are from Virginia. Have not rcvd his form letter though! Any suggestions?
My son called a little while ago. He talked for about 20 minutes. He said the RDC last week in div 430 forgot to send the letters out so they will be sending them out today. He said the division is a push division and they are doing great:) he said they might be able to call again next weekend. At least he is hoping so. So keep phones close and we should be getting letters soon:)
My son Dusty is in Div 429 and we are from Texas
CShells We are from Wylie.. east of Dallas
I got my weekly letter today. I was so disappointed yesterday that it didn't come but then I remembered that Monday was a holiday. The letter was pretty short. He said they were really busy and are going thru Hell week this week but their division is doing really well. (429) I am counting down the days. I thought it would get easier but it just seems to be getting harder. I'm missing him so much. He's my only child so I think I'm going thru the Empty Nest Syndrom.
my son is in Div 429 as well. Where do you live? We are in Ohio. Have 2 boys in Navy now. 16 yr old daughter at home. off with friends alot on weekends so that is when it hits here. But I have a wonderful support group both online here and with Blue Star Mothers. Keeping all our children in prayer. Tough weeks coming up but the will shine on the other side of this! Definately counting down the days to see our Sailor Sons again. CMON NOV 8th!!
Just wondering where everyone in 429/430 is staying.. The Navy Lodge is booked so trying to find out where the majority is staying that's been recommended.. any help is appreciated :)
