Just got the first "letter" (really a form letter) but was wonderful to see my son's one paragraph handwriting!  Now I have a PIR date so would love to hear from any other mom's, wives, GF's  out their that have loved ones in this division!

kkr0617...I talked to my son that PIR'd in 2009.  He said they get mail everyday, but are only allowed to write on certain days, so I'm sure he'll have that letter before his birthday.  Happy Birthday to him....and our hearts are with you on Saturday, as you celebrate the day you gave birth to a hero!!
Thank you for your kind words.  We are very proud of him.
Has everyone in this division received their form letter yet? I haven't received it and I'm a little nervous. I got my SR's address from his recruiter and I've already started to mail out letters. I'm hoping the information was correct that his recruiter gave me. I'm also anxious because I'd like to start making hotel and airfare reservations. I hope it arrives in the mail today :(
i would think if he is in this DIV that your date is the same....

That's what im hoping! I don't see why it wouldn't lol. But the recruiter gave me ship 4, division 803 and from what was posted on the RTC website.... 802 and 803 are both graduating on 12/2/11. Should I just go with the website or should I wait for the form letter to arrive?

You can make reservations and change them if you need to.  I know alot of people are booking already, so I would.
Thank you for the advice! I booked my room... Now all that's left is the airfare

Was sooooo hoping to get that letter today.....nothing, maybe tomorrow.....

But I did book the flight,  have the hotel, now will work in the rental car......

So I'm assuming for all of us who haven't received the PIR form... we're all working under the assumption that the Graduation is on 12/02/11 right? LOL I hope I'm not the only one because we still haven't received it yet! But I know the longer we wait, the higher the prices of the ticket will be. We went ahead and booked our tickets and hotel reservations. I received a phone call from my SR also :) It was a "business call" for information he needed... but it was so great to hear his voice. Has anyone received word on their SR?
we got our letter, confirming graduation is 12/2/11...booked rooms but not flights yet.  Sooooo wish I could hear his voice.  I know your phone call was for business reasons, but I'm definitely envious!

Well, still no letter today :(

don't feel bad! we still haven't gotten our PIR form yet!! I'm beginning to feel our division is slacking lol.

By the way, for all the ladies who have an SR in Division 803.... if you are on FB, please like the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page. They have weekly contests on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the winner gets to choose which Division they want photographed. Its a possibility that if we win, we can see our Recruits before 12/2/11 :)
