Just got the first "letter" (really a form letter) but was wonderful to see my son's one paragraph handwriting!  Now I have a PIR date so would love to hear from any other mom's, wives, GF's  out their that have loved ones in this division!

Thanks for the info....off to FB to "like" the page!!

Yes, tune in every Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:30 eastern. They post the contest at 1.... Everyone is super quick to respond but not everyone who responds first has the right answer.... It's really nice. I would love to see my SR before 12/02/11

Has everyone gotten their form letter yet?  I am awaiting a letter now.  I have my phone ringer on high and  the most obnoxious ring tone so that I dont miss his call.  I washed his bed sheets and made the bed again.  I am sad but excited because his brother is coming to visit next weekend and he can use brothers room.  I thinks this sounds so funny but do not want to use names.

Yes, I got my form lettter on the 15th...and waiting, not so patiently, for the first letter!  Phone is attached to my hip and can't wait to hear his voice! :)

Doesn't sound funny at all....since we don't use names on here, that's what makes the Meet and Greet a lot of fun.  We actually get to use real names! :)  Hope your letter gets to you tomorrow!!

I got my first "Sunday"  letter.  Check your mail!  He said to be expecting a call in a week or so!

They took out his lower wisdom teeth.  :(

So happy you got your first letter!!!  Tomorrow can't come fast enough for me.  Sorry to hear about his wisdom teeth..but hope he's healing well!!!

We received two letters today at our house . . .  4 pages for sister, 1 page for Mom and Dad. I feel better!

CONGRATULATIONS!!  Communication has begun...we're getting closer to phone calls!! YAY!
I got another phone call last night! Its amazing to me I always used to yell at my SR for being so "forgetful"..... NOW..... I'm so greatful he is! But he did tell me to look out for letters. They should be on their way. I'm so anxious I'm jittery!!!!

YEHA, I got a letter.....a wonderful, great, fantastic, beautiful 5 page letter!!!!!

God, now I miss him again just like the days after he left.  He did say that this DIV BC is WAY harder than the non-special ops BC.

I had sent him a Q&A letter asking him different questions about different things, just a short question and in the same line had a Yes or NO or Sometimes....asked him to circle the answer and perhaps a word of two....he sent that back, so had lots of questions answered that way.....wanted to share this w/all of you, good way to find out about things......

He also asked me to go on his FB page (funny, he would not even let me be his friend befor he left) and let his friends know his address so thay can write.....they all REALLY love the leters!

Now a very Happy Mom of a SR

That is a really cool idea.
Has anyone had a phone call yet from any SR in 04/803?
