Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Just thought I would start a discussion for anyone whose SR is in this division. :)

Our guys should graduate from A school in mid to late February.  Welcome everyone.  My SR is in DIV 342 I believe the two DIV are brother DIV and MichiganNavyMom and I have been keeping in touch for quite sometime. LOL My SR is also MH San Antonio bound after BC.  I have the meet and greet set on the calendar don't for get to reply and if you do not have an invite that is ok just go to the calendar select the 10/14/11 PIR date and it should pop up then join and confirm.  Hope to see everyone there.

It's funny I got the real letter first...still waiting on the form letter...lol Hopefully we will both get the other letters this week.

yes finally a real letter...had to read it over and over and over!....I am still waiting for the form letter tho....
I finally got a real letter today from my SR. Having to do a lot of IT. He still hasn't gotten any of the 5 letters that I sent this past week so hopefully they will start handing out mail. Today is my birthday in the letter really made me have a great birthday.

Got one!! Love it!!! I can't believe how long its been since I've seen my son's handwriting. Sounds like everything is going well.

 

I have to RSVP for the meet and greet. Can't wait to see everyone and yes that means you too...proud2baNavyMom even if our boys didn't end up in the same division :(

 

I know :( what you mean, but I believe thay may be brother DIV so our SR's may know eachother neway.  We will find out soon enough and if not I am almost certain they will before they leave San Antonio.  My SR hasn't said much about meeting ne one so I don't know.  Made reservations today We are staying at America's Inns and Suites.  Have a cousin coming with me that is not going to go to PIR.  Just wants to see him before he ships out to SA.  Can't wait getting excited, and we still have 5 1/2 weeks left LOL
