Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Missy123 Hello! Hope your Christmas went well. What is the Facebook link for 804 you referred to?

Hi Peanut820!  There is a private FB page for our 1/23 PIR which you can search under this:  PIR 01-23-15  NAVY BOOT CAMP   10 Divisions (067-074, 804 and 911).  Then there is one specific for the 800 Division.  It is literally called "800 Divisions".  Then, once in the 800 Divisions, you can be connected to a "secret group" for your SR's class such as SEAL, Diver, etc.  Jeff Diffy runs the secret group.  He's the one that does the blood drive there at RTC.  He says this:  Its a closed grpup and we utilize OPSEC and PERSEC inline with DOD cyber awareness. I also scan profiles to ensure all present are players and would end membership on those that weren't. We are as safe a closed social media sites can get. Safe site = safe Sailors...including my own.hope that helps.

I'll send you a private message with my name and we can "meet" each other on FB!  Hope to see you there!

Happy New Year Moms!!! Hope everyone is doing well! It's been awful quite here!! I was hoping to at least, get a call from my Son today, hopefully he'll come through! Hell Week is just about done, hopefully all made it through ok!
Happy New Year, SMIPA! Do we have reason to expect calls today?

Happy New year!! I was kind of thinking no news was probably good news this week. I really don't expect them to call again until after Battlestations (unless it's bad news), or they win a call or something. Have you heard something different SMIPA? I've been praying hard all week that they made it through ok. I haven't gotten a letter yet this week either...........keeping my fingers crossed that I get one tomorrow.

Where are they now?

Being a push division, does anyone have any idea where our boys are in boot camp schedule right now -- think in "week six" or ?? I know it's a guess, but anyone know?

804 is getting 60 second phone calls as a reward for doing something good, lol. Keep your phones handy!

Sorry ladies, I hadn't heard anything about them calling today, just had a feeling that they may call today.
As of now, I know some of you have received 60 second calls... I knew our SRs would come through!! ;)
My SR called his father, but at least I know he's ok!
MommaBear, if I'm calculating correctly, they should be in week 4 of training (since they already had divisions formed prior to shipping=no IP days?)
Going by that and PIR date, week 4 is what I get. I could be wrong though.
All I know is that we're getting closer to seeing them, every day!! Hooyah!!

I guess not all SRs got to call home yesterday. We didn't receive one from ours. Would have been nice though:(  Looking forward to some letters though today or tomorrow.

I'm hoping for a letter too Peanut!! Haven't gotten one since the 26the!

Okay, ladies....how many are planning on going to Sarge's meet-n-greet?  We should try to make some coordinated effort to reserve a table or two (Depending on how many will be attending).  Some are making centerpieces with Division # to hold a table.  I can take a swing at that, but would like to know what I am getting into with regard to number!  I am flying in, so it's not going to be huge...I have to be able to carry them on the plane!  lol.

M

We are planning on going, and there will be 3 of us. Do we know how many seats to a table? Are there reference pics somewhere of other centerpieces folks have done? I'm not crafty at all, so I didn't volunteer to make them.........but I hate for those of you that are flying to have to deal with them. We are driving up. I need to go look up when it starts................how early do you think you have to get there to reserve a table?
