Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 806.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

LadyHawk I'm not sure. He never said what the guy's job was, just that he was really cool and always shows him pictures of the baby his wife just had. It was cute (:

What hotel has everyone chosen to stay at?  We are currently booked at America's Best Value Inn ($50 night) but still have until the morning of the 7th to cancel or change.  We also RSVP'd for Sarge's Meet & Greet, where are all of you going?

Are all of you (that are on here) also on the PIR 02/08 and spec ops FB pages?  Here are the links to those pages if you haven't already joined:

I'm happy you got a call! My sr told me in a letter too that he sent me something? I was confused about that too. Glad to know they know each other :)
Yes last name H is him!!!!

Good Morning all!

Well younger sister got the call yesterday b/c my phone was off since I was working at the hospital for the day.  Dad's phone was on but he was in the "dead zone" driving back from the beach.  Our SR said he was glad that his sister had answered b/c the next number he could remember was his 86 year old grandfather's and he wasn't sure he was ready to talk to him for 30 mins. I loved that!

Our SR called back about 2 hours later b/c he was working on his security clearance stuff and needed information.  We have gathered all that and will be sending it out tomorrow. He said his 806 division is up for 3 inspections this week and if all goes well they may get a couple of hours next weekend in the Rec Center to hang out.

He said one of his buddies got sent home due to high blood pressure which gave him a little scare.  Last time his was checked it was elevated a little.  I reminded him the next time it was checked to make sure they used the right size of BP cuff....he said he did that the last time and his BP was ok and the corpman laughed and said yeah the cuff size does make a difference!

He sounded good even though we had to stay on security clearance business...his sister said he was great so until the next letter or call ....everything is going well.

From one of his letters it sounds as if he is the Recruit Chief Petty Officer....what does this mean?

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good job to your SR! We have received a couple security clearance info calls also. So good to hear his voice! We are almost in the home stretch!

Tiffany, had to delete your post....sorry....but we can't disclose BattleStations dates on N4Moms or FB.  Can only private message them.  The ladies on here can private message you for the date.

But just to let you know...BattleStations is only 12 hours long.  They start in the evening, and finish up the next morning...then have a capping ceremony.  What he may have meant is that they can't call you until that afternoon....usually after 2 pm GLakes time.  Here is the link to the BattleStations info:

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir562011/forum/topics/battlestati...

But....by the time they hit their racks on the day they finish, which will be at 8 pm rather than 10 pm, they have been up for around 38 hours.  So they are pretty beat!  Please feel free to post your comment again, but without the specific date you heard for BattleStations.  Thanks!

Thank you for the info Diannep and the links that you included, I hadn't seen them.  If anyone does happen to know the date for Battle Sations, please message me, too.  I haven't talked with my son since he left before Christmas (Iwe missed his call from 2 weeks ago) and I would really like to know when that call may come in (or at least a narrowed time frame.  Thank You ALL for being here and all the info that has been passed along, it has been very comforting.

I do. I will inbox you guys when I get home from work.

Tiffany can you also inbox me with the date?  THANKS!!!

Me too please...thanks
