OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 8/25/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED.  Vaccinations still required.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 806.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Yes lady hawk they are special ! I haven't heard anything haven't gotten to check the mail but when I get home if I get anything I will be sure to post! Does anyone know how long they will have liberty for on graduation day?
I saw someone say their sr has liberty until Sunday!!!
Okay I just looked it up and I see a technical school in Pensacola fl because he is aviation rescue swimmer. So I'm guessing he will be leaving on Saturday.

Hi, Keke - my son is planning to become an aviation rescue swimmer also, and he has said the most likely they would be leaving Saturday for Pensacola, but he didn't know which airport, O'Hare or Midway.  Got a letter from him today and he says things are moving fast now!  They're halfway done!!!!

My son also becoming an aviation rescue swimmer said that more than likely Saturday so we will only get Friday from right after graduation until the RDC tells them they have to be back.  Most of the time from what i have read on other sites it is about 8 or 9PM... Thanks for responding to about the call thing...I sure would love to hear his voice.

KeeKe which meet & greet are going to try to attend? My SR also is going for AIRR. I really would like to network with some of the other moms that our sons will be togather.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to attend a meet and greet. I just started a new job so I will still be on probation so I have to leave from work on 2/7 @ 7pm and my flight is at 9!

I was soooo disappointed I will not be able to attend

Thanks !!! And glad you guys got letters. I guess the mail gets to ny slower :-(. Crossing my fingers for tomorrow

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well.  I managed to make reservations for our flights for PIR and hotel reservations.  We will be at the Ramada.  Now it is time to get back to grading papers.  Our high school fall semester is ending tomorrow and we start exams next week.  Time for lots of grading!

Hope we all get letters this week and maybe even a phone call!

Hello everyone... Hope you guys have had a great FRiday! I got a call today and my SR was soooo happy to speak to me. I spoke to him for about 20 mins because I was at work and had to get back to it. He told me he has been getting my mail. HE told me he has been sending letters but the last I got was new years. He got three wisdom teeth pulled but he is in good spirits. He passed all tests and he cannot wait for PIR

woot! woot!  I'm so glad, Keke!  Wasn't it wonderful!

It was sooo great!
