I am so upset. I missed my sons call today. I had to go out this morning and forgot my phone at home and he called. His voicemails kill me. He was crying and said he misses us. I feel so bad. I wish I could have talked with him. I started balling when I heard his voice. I feel like such a bad mom right now.

adams mom, my son, daniel is in the same div.  what part of the country are you in? the guy in the bunk below daniel is from texas.  let me know - diana

I got two letters today from my SR. One was from the week before. He reaped it and was not going to send it but changed his mind. My son said in his second letter that things are alot easier. He also said that all the SRs in his div are like brothers now and work together.. That made me so happy to hear that..
NO call yet..
Hi my SR is in this ship/div. I'm glad to hear better news. In previous letters I reminded him that they all have to work together and that if any guy falters instead of getting upset they all need to help that guy. The military is about how well one can function as part of a team hopefully they are getting that now. I'm encouraged to hear the positive. Anybody got a letter this week?
Yes! we got two letters last night! (ship 07/Div 011) They are working hard and all looking so forward to graduation.  They are working together and in my heart I know they are going to make it! By the time this is over they will have friends for life! My son said the guys are nice good guys so that made me feel they are doing what it takes to get through this! He said keep writing as much as possible, it is REALLY helping them!  So I will get my letter going right now!!! Everybody write as much as you can!!!

My SR said they are like brothers now and are finally helping each other through this.. Belle you are so right when you said they will be friends for life.

Congrats Dawn! I'm very happy for you :)
Did everyone get their phone call... I did talked for 22 minutes but a little sad because his dad didn't get to talk to him..
Hi Mom's I have a SR in the 07/12 div and he told me your group is their buddy group. They do everything with your group. I did receive a call today at Noon ish Pacific time. 30 min call. It was great to hear from him he is doing pretty good and that all the guys are bonding and pulling for each other. Great teams. No letters out here yet but he said they were on the way!
Hi there!  I received my letter yesterday..finally!!  It was so exciting.  My daughter and I were so excited, we laughed, and cried.  It was quite emotional, but cool!!  The greatest thing was about 20 minutes after getting our letters my SR called!!  He sounded a little down and homesick. He's hanging in there.  A few days prior they pulled his wisdom teeth. He never had a cavity in his life, and they pulled 4 teeth!  I felt so bad for him.  He's on the up and up, and is looking forward to Dec 2!!  I hope all you Momma's get your letters soon!!
Congratulations to all those who got letters and calls! I keep sending them but haven't yet recd from my SR. He called his gf and she said he sounded good and invited her to PIR. I know that made her very happy. I'm hoping maybe today's mail will bring one but even if it doesn't I know its because he knows I am there no matter what. So is anyone going to order division tee shirts? I thought they were neat but I would like to dress up a bit so we can get good pics with him in his dress blues. Anybody else?
