No letter for us this week.  But a friend of his send me a message on facebook that she received one, and he sounded upbeat in his letter.  So, that's good!  Hoping for a letter tomorrow if they are allowed to send mail twice a week now.  My husband was in Iraq and I had more contact with him!  :)

Also, is it too late for me to order the division t shirts?  I was going to call tomorrow if they are open.

Hello Moms! Has anyone in our division gotten a letter lately? Checked the mailbox today and nothing...was hoping for a letter today! Oh well I guess they are really busy...if anyone gets a letter please let me know!  Thanks! (ship 07 div 011)

So sorry to hear about your loss.  We've been through that too.  God bless and keep your chin up! No letter today.  Sounds like they are extremely busy.  No news is good news!

Just wanted to update Navy moms. After about 10 days with no letters, I finally got three today!  SR is doing fine, it sounds like!  He passed his second PFA, thinks he qualified for a shooting ribbon, passed his inspections and tests, and is on track for Battlestations.  Sounds like things are accelerating, and we need to start burning those blue candles soon.  They will be done before we know it!

The only down side was that my SR believes we may only get to spend a few minutes together on 12/2, as SR thinks that travel to SR's A school may take place on 12/2, not 12/3!!  Talk about "grad and go"!  I hope this isn't true.  Has anyone else heard anything about some SRs traveling out on 12/2?

No my SR didn't say what day he was leaving but found out that he is not staying in GL like his recruiter told him. The bad thing is I joined the Group for Groton, CT SubSchool and A School and ask if he would be able to come home for Christmas. They said NO he will not be phased up to get leave.. I am so upset...
