No letter here either :( Hoping for another call tomorrow though and maybe a letter. Would rather have a call though!

I didn't get a letter today either. Maybe tomorrow!

Good morning my new Navy family. I am hoping for a good day =) and we all get our letters today. We got a bunch of snow here overnight and my husband is working so I guess my morning will be spent shoveling snow, yah! Have a great day everyone.

Anyone get a letter today? I was really hoping but just got junk mail. :( No phone call either. I assume that no one else did either since there are no posts. :(

Hi Callie, I got my letter yesterday, but my son's girlfriend got hers today.  Hopefully you will get one on Monday!!

Also, no call today.  I doubt we'll hear from them again for a while.  Take care and hang in there!!

It's Monday morning and already watching for the mailman..  Fingers crossed for everyone waiting for their first letter to come today.......

Another day no  letter. Are there any Texas Moms here? I am thinking we will be the last to get a letter lol.

Callie

I am also from texas and really didn;t think my son would write. i got the first letter today...so maybe tomorrow .

when did your son go in?

My daughter left in 1/3 when I spoke with her on 1/14 she said she had letters whenever they would let her mail them. I can see now I am not going to be good at this whole Navy Mom thing lol.

Callie,

My daughter left on Jan 9 and is in the same 07/078  I to have not recieved any letters yet... Now I have to wait till tomorrow.    When family and friend ask how is she doing, I reply I haven't heard from her.   they reply no "news is good news.."   Still just trying to be patient.  have a good day.

Ladies , my lovely daughter has not sent me a letter (yet) either. Hmmm. We are writing daily . I know they are busy- hoping for tomorrow!

I just wonder how it is decided who writes and who doesn't.  Same with the phone calls.  It really seems to be hit or miss among all the different divisions.

I have been blessed with both a phone call and a letter.  Now I don't expect any more calls until the "I am a sailor" call, but I hope a get a couple more letters before PIR.

I hope everyone gets something this week to make them feel better knowing their child is doing well and is happy right now.
