I am sorry to hear about your hotel! And you're right all that matters is the time you get to spend together. My name is Ashley, I look forward to meeting you at the Meet and Greet! Only a couple of more days:) Have a safe trip!
I'm leaving tomorrow night and arriving in GL Wednesday afternoon!
Are you driving too? We are driving from Blacksburg, VA and leaving Wednesday night and arriving in GL Thursday afternoon. Our drive will be 12-14 hrs. Nik is grad & go and has to be back at 7:30 Friday so we will leave Saturday at check out. Are you coming alone?
I'll be driving from Texas so it'll be about a hr drive. I'll be riding with his family:) Chase is staying in GL so. He gets until Sunday!
I hope you have a safe trip and I look forward to meeting you Thursday. My name is Michele Durfee and I will be at the meet and greet. Does Chase know Nik Jarrett? Do you feel like you are meeting him for the first time again? I do.....if that makes sense.
My name is shelbie. My SR is Chase Fleck. Thank You! Same goes to you. I'm not sure. Lol I do feel that way, I get all nervous!! Lol can't wait to meet you!
I'm still trying to figure out how I will know everybody that I am expecting to meet! I will probably get to the meet and greet between 6:15 and 6:30. I hope they have name tags or something silly like that..lol. My son is carrying the Athletic Flag for the division at graduation:) Kind of crazy...I expected him to be sent home after 2-3 weeks. Not a trouble maker, just marches to his own beat. He proved mommy wrong. Thank God!!!
I was in a panic when they started talking about the room no longer being available. I made that reservation on 2/1, the day I got the generic info letter. But bottom line, I would sleep in our car if it came down to it! As I told Nik, the gates of hell wouldn't be able to hold me back on that day. I would be there, no matter what! What time will you be arriving and where are you staying?
Michelle- I know exactly what you mean! Lol Chase is the Honor graduate of graduation:)
Wow! You have got to be so proud. I'm proud of him and I don't know him!!!!! So, are you two getting married any time soon or are you going to wait until he gets through A training? I so love a good love story:)
Its funny you asked that!! Lol In the 48 letters I have received he has said something about getting engaged or buying a ring ASAP in every single one! Then I received a letter from three of his buddies in the division and at the very end of each of their letters they added "congratulations on the engagement"!! I have NO IDEA what chase is up to. Lol His family is in on it and its really bugging me because I'm not very good with surprise presents!! So I am clueless. Lol its driving me insane!!! I am very proud on all the accomplishments he has made and would be honored to marry that man some day<3
Shelbie, embrace the moment. I'd say Chase was planning this before he went to boot camp. He just needed to get through this phase of his life before he did it, he was planing your future together....roll with it, don't rush it, grow together and learn together. 48 letters! Do the math, no matter what he was going through in boot camp you were what was always on his mind and he still ROCKED IT!!!!!
