Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

We were talking about jobs, and it was so funny. I only know first names mentioned on here, and he knows everyone by last name. It will be nice in just over 1 month to put faces and names together. He did mention they have an integrated division, so not everyone knows everyone else, and yes, there are GIRLS, but they aren't berthed together.

That's funny! I knew first names and he knew last names too! He said there are 28 girls in the division but they don't really talk to them much. The no fraternization rules or something.

We got a call too! 41 min 13 sec. then I heard a very loud "times up" in the back round! sound like he is very busy no free moments. He sounds good. Happy Mom and Dad here.

I got my call too! It was so great to hear my daughter's voice. It sounds like she may be a little homesick! Just broke my heart! But we were able to laugh together so at least I know she still has a sense of humor! Boy I sure miss her!

My Granddaughter in 09-043 called her Mom this evening. We are so excited. She is doing well, happy and chipper. No real problems to speak of other than she needs to work on her push ups or sit ups...or both. Swimming and running went fine for her. We are so happy that she is adjusting well.

Got another letter, in fact I got an envelope full of letters to pass out to family. He doesn't have addresses, so I get to play post man. I am still watching the countdown and the weather obsessively.

I got another letter yesterday, too. I love these long letters from my sailor. I do miss just chatting with him.

Merry Christmas moms. Less than 27 days left. I heard his voice again today, and he says the worst is over. He thinks that he may know the Mail guy. In fact, he thinks he lines up behind him. It was shorter than the last phone call, but worth every second in gold!

My granddaughter called home yesterday. She is doing well. And, counting the days to graduation. Her Mom said the call went well until she spoke with her brother then she started crying. Ah-ha...we thought he was the royal pain in her butt. Obviously she misses that pain! Hope all of you get to hear from your SR.

We had a very short phone call (about 1 min.) but it was the only Christmas gift I need! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Merry Christmas, ladies! My son called today and sounded SO much better than last time. We talked about 10 minutes, and I feel such a sense of relief. Getting a good night's sleep does a world of good for him!
