You all need to go to the Navy Recruit Training Command  Facebook page (photos).  RTC posted a photo of our division yesterday. I found our son right away!  Great gift for Christmas!

Thank you so much. I found my granddaughter right away. It made my day....well and some happy tears.

Yup. Found mine right away. Perfect! I shared and tagged and texted the fam.
It took me a minute to find my son, with his new glasses on! He looks great with the haircut. Got a letter today, too. I am not feeling so sad these days, thank goodness. It's so much easier now that I know what he's doing each week.
Hope all you ladies had a good Christmas. I know your new year will be great...especially Jan 20!

To All-I am getting ready to make room reservations. I have read so much I am blue in the face and confused. Any ideas? The Navy lodge is reasonable but they don't offer a shuttle. We want to be as close as possible and have a shuttle service. Any thoughts?

There  are lots of options depending on what you want. The information phamplet that your SR sent home has the mileage between those motels and RTC.  I chose one with a nice indoor pool and hot tub as I thought our son might like to relax there.  I don't know what he'll feel like doing and of course will leave it up to him.  After I got our reservation I noticed there is a Starbucks coffee right next door to our motel.  He lived in Seattle prior to bootcamp and had a real taste for that coffee, he should like that!  :)

I printed our Gate Pass!!!! Getting close!

Did you need a code from your Sr to print that? Can you print more than one? Did you get a package about graduation form your SR? We have two auto's going so we may need more than one pass. Thanks for your help.

Yes there is a password you must enter,  it was sent on the very first "form" letter our SR sent.  You can print as many as you need.  You print them from the RTC website.  www.bootcamp.navy.mil/index.asp

Its under the family tab/Upcoming graduations.

Printed up my pass! Ready to go.....just 8 days!

Where is everyone?  We got our I'm a Sailor call yesterday afternoon!! They will be competing in Captain's Cup today.  Our son said they were all pretty tired and didn't know how they would preform.

Mine said that Div 043 is going to kill it today at Captain's Cup!
