funny about the red bulls, when i was talking to my daughter and all of a sudden she screamed at someone, WHERE DID YOU GET THE RED BULL? lol. Does anyone know if there are any new pics of this division posted anywhere?

a call and a facebook message from my daughter today, whew!! so glad to hear her voice. She is grad and go, so ill be driving from Mich, to Great lakes, and driving back that same night, cant wait to see her!

How awesome! I am so proud of all of them... especially the women... I know I could NEVER do it! I would cry the first time they yelled at me! haha  Lujosmom, What is his nickname? I haven't heard of one lol!  My hubby likes how nice the RDCs are now too! He said it's a complete turn around.  He said they are talking to them like actual human beings. I can't wait for next week. I would totally go now and just sit in the dark room on the bleachers waiting if they'd let me!

And Cheryl, I can't believe that's their flag motto lol! But it's memorable and catchy! haha And yes, from a song =)

My oldest girl, is a Marine. I remember going through this with her, although they werent given the liberty to call or get on facebook, lmao!!
OMG, just googled the song "Like A Boss" I wonder if it's from the original or the Saturday Night Live version LOL At least they all have a sense of humor! I feel so old when I have to google these things!
Congrats! to all the new Sailors and their families !! I got my call @ 440 pm My daughter sounded tired but great !! had to share phone time with my ex so I got to speak with her for 30mins !!  GREAT JOB 189 !!
ONLY 3 DAYS TO GO!!!!  We received a short, (5-minute), phone call from our SAILOR yesterday evening...which he had "earned" because he had run a floor buffer in their ship ( in preparation of getting the ship cleaned-up for the "new" recruits who will be moving-in when DIV 189 moves out!  He said it was HOT, at Great Lakes, yesterday...but the newest forecast, on the Weather Channel website, has changed their hi-temp, for Friday, to the 80's instead of the 90's!  We live just 4 1/2 hours south of Great Lakes...and the temp hit 90 yesterday, here!  Today they are calling for afternoon thunderstorms (possibly severe)!  But GRADUATION DAY, at Great Lakes, looks perfect!  See everyone on Friday!
I've been watching the weather too wondering what to pack. Little stressed because my legs are not in shorts condition!! Thank goodness the temp is going down. How's the humidity?? I'm getting busy with packing and such so probably won't be on here for awhile. I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words and advice and I also wanted to wish everyone safe travels. I hope you all have a wonderful time with your Sailors!!!!

I've changed my mind 100 times.  I'm trying to figure out how to dress since here in NC it is 88 and 100 percent humidity.  We've even gotten close to 100 last week.  Trying not to pack much since the airlines want to charge for luggage now!  Anyway, can't wait to meet all of you Thursday night!

I wish you all a Safe and Happy Trip!!! Congrats to all And I thank you all for your support and words of comfort !!!
