BrandonDiv267 my son is a CTR (cryptology) he goes to Pensacola for his A school probably they. Will be together they are both

thats great!!! They will know someone at A school :-)

That's so sad that only 5 out of 88 received mail.  I already had my letter ready to go when I finally received an address to send to.  Mailed it right away but that was still Friday.  Don't think there was any chance that my son was one who received mail.  SURELY mail call will be much different this next Sunday.

I've asked my son to notice if there are recruits who never receive mail.  I know that there are more of these than we like to think about.  I've told him that if there was any way to get a name to me we have people in our church and family who would make sure they get letters and cards of encouragement.  As a mom, it breaks my heart to think that there are those recruits who have no one.

To all those moms who are hearing little tidbits of information, thanks and please keep sharing.  It's great to have even that much of an idea about what is going on.

For the ones already receiving mail are your SR's in 267? My son is in 268 and we didn't receive the form letter until Friday. I mailed a letter Saturday and again yesterday. I hope he gets them soon!! I can't wait to get a letter from him. I will be stalking the mailman on Thursday!!

As far as I can tell, it looks like only the moms from 267 recruits have heard anything.  Mine is in 268.  I don't think any of the 268 moms have heard anything.  Just remember that no news can also be good news; but we will probably start corresponding with our boys any day now.

same for me (div 268) no letters from my son yet!!  I so thankful for this site... helps to share.. My husband is thankful too!!  I don't bother him now with my worries..  lol

Yay!

I got a letter today as well! Dakota said he hasn't received any mail as of Sunday. I hope he gets them soon. I've mailed him a letter every day since July 1st. Looks like his only took three days to get to me.

Yay! I am so excited for you!

Got my first letter today!!!!! Now I can't wait to get home and read it!!!! Hope everyone is getting letters!!!

Yay! How exciting. Fingers crossed I get one tomorrow. I was a day behind you all on the form letters. Waiting patiently...

Awesome... I can't wait to get home and check the mailbox. 1 more hour before I get out of here. Thanks for posting, that just brightened up my day :-)
