Yeah, I got a letter today.  It was short and sweet.  Apparently he hasn't gotten any of my letters because he said "Don't forget to write back".  Hopefully he will get them soon.  I have written 4 so far.  He sounded in good spirits.  Said bootcamp was fun and that he missed passing his first PFA by 1 pushup.  Apparently they had an inspection yesterday and he said if he passed, he would get to move to the next phase whatever that means.  He also thinks it's still cool that he will graduate on his birthday.
I'm so happy that you got a letter!  I think you'll get one each week  :)   Alex didn't include any info on PT, except that they had only had it twice (he didn't mention any tests).  Well, they've got 17 days under their belts and I pray every day for them.  I'm still struggling (not a day yet without tears) but it is a little better as time goes on.
My Daughter send a letter to her Recruiter  yesturday Friday 07/22/2011 and then I got a phone call from him say that she was doing good. He told me that I was getting a letter as well Yesturday Friday. Sure enough I got a letter and in that letter there where 4 I cried so much just opening it up. then trying to read it was even more hearder then i thought. I cried that i could not even read it but some how i pulled it togther and started reading them. She let me know that she miss me dearly and wanted to come home. she also said that she pass all of her PFA on the first go around. I am so proud of her she did say that she is doing laudary po what every that is but she is doing it with God Garce. shortly after that I found out that my Mother and Brother got a letter as well an she send one for her sister and father too. she asked that I pray for her so she could get throught boot camp and everything else that come there way. I wrote her back and said no problem My army of angles are on there way I am send them all to you to take care of you and proctect you as well. If your SR is in this Divison Please let me know water works mom

Aww, Water works Mom- I am so happy that she is doing so well and that you got some letters.  I kinow it must be very hard on them.  Hopefully we will all get phone calls soon.  I have started keeping my cell phone by my side at all times now.  I have only been able to find the 3 of us so far in this division, but hopefully we will find some more soon.

Jana

Really only 3 of us!  My daughter wrote in one of her letter that she was in a PUSH DIVISON. So everything goes super fast. She also said MOM please PRAY that I pass all of my inspection which was Wednesday.  I guess in my next letter i will know if she pass or not.  I am also getting ready to send her some stamps because she said she is only able to write on Sunday.  She get mail on Monday and Friday. I make sure to write her 2 letter a day and one card on sunday. I hope we all get to meet each other before Graduation day Maybe in Meet and Greet on thursday. water works mom

Theresa WATER WORK MOM

WWM, I am happy that you got letters!  My son didn't include any info on passing tests, so hopefully he'll let me know how that is going for him. Overall, I think our kids are doing great and that makes me so happy for all of us.

Our recruiter said you should not plan on trying to get more than 2 additional guests into the graduation. It could potentially hurt other SR and their families. That they will frown on that.  They like each family to be fair to each other, so I hope some of your family isn't going to be disappointed.

I wonder why we don't have more mom's posting on this conversation??

I am trying to get in one extra person, his half brother--hopefully he will be able to get in--if not, he will just meet us back at the hotel.
