Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 225 and 226

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My daughter is in Div 225. I also received a call from her yesterday. It was only for 10 minutes, but I cherished every moment. She sounded good except for sniffing. She said there had been a virus going around and some of the SR had been sick. My prayers are not only with my child but also for all of the sons/'daughters that are there also..

Hello everyone! I am so glad y'all received phone calls! How exciting! There is nothing better than hearing their voice! I need a bit of help if y'all don't mind! I believe I have been addressing my letters wrong. Neither I, nor his family have received a form letter. I am going off of the return address he put on the letters he has sent me but after investigating this website for 20 minutes, I do believe I am writing it wrong. Can someone tell me how you have written it? Please and thank you! :)

Nevermind, I have found the correct way! Hope everyone is having a good week!

Hi.  My son is in 226 and I just heard from him and he sounds happy.  I am so glad!

1bison.. happy you heard from your SR.. was that today or yesterday? Mine is in div. 226 also , sure would like to hear from him. Last call he was upset. Hoping he's doing better now.

Today I got letters SEVEN of them!!!! I couldn't have been happier!!!! I think I'll read them all again before I go to bed!!!! I'm so ready to see him at PIR!!!!

Received letters! So happy he said he has made good friends and its not that bad. He said the hardest part is being away from the family. Best mothers day gift he has ever given me and he doesn't even know it. :)
Have any of you joined the fb group? Look for PIR 06/14/13...I sent a request to join wonder how long it takes to be accepted. I also found another group div 226 ship 09. Sent request to join that too.

Hello all!

My son is in this group but I only know the information because I was able to sneak it. He does not want anything to do with me. However, I have walked this road before three years ago and just finished my first 9 month deployment in the Persian Gulf. Look forward to following the process of BC with you ladies. It goes by faster than it seems, I promise

Good morning!
I'm looking to meet the mom of a son in 226 who is from the same area of NY where we used to live. I would love to meet you.

I live in Elmira. I didnt mention that we live here, but we do.
