Wow were not to far away.I live in Philadelphia. We are gonna stay at hampton libertyville
I am from the Chicago area, Bartlett, IL. So I'll be staying at home : ). I definitely feel blessed to be so close.

good for you. That must be alot nicer. But we are looking forward to the trip. I think we are going to drive and stay at residense Marriott

I kinda wish we had to take a trip, it is nice to get away, I guess it will have to wait for A School. At least then she will be in San Diego.
i'll be staying with my SIL, he'll be moving there as she'll be in A and C school till february.  so we'll be moving them up there at graduation.
trust me, i'd rather be living in the area.  when i made the trip 4 years ago i had to fly my oldest "non-birthed" daughter and her daughter home because her dad died so i made the whole trip driving myself (turned into a 23 hour trip).  this time i'll have son and sil with me but sil has no license and son has never driven a LARGE truck much less towing a car so i'll again be doing a majority of the driving.  wish i could just blink my eyes and we're there, lol.  she mentioned in "the letter" that i could bring my grandson too as he won't count against the 4.  nope, sorry, know you miss him but he's 3 years old.  me, a 19 year old, a 27 year old and a 3 year old all in the front of a u-haul for 20+ hours, nope, not gonna happen, lol
hey Sandi,do you know when and where the meet and greet will be?

MeetNGreet will be the Thurs night before PIR:

    PIR 8/19//11 MeetNGreet

    Thurs, 8/18

    6-8 pm

    Ramada Inn Waukegan

    200 N. Green Bay Rd

Thanks, We will try to be there. Our flight arrives @ 5:40. Hopefuly we will make it. It will be fun to meet the parents behind our children :)

This is prob a crazy question, but if our kids are in the same ship and division do you think they know each other?
Well there are probably 80+ of them. But since they are supposed to work as a team, chances are they do. I sent a questionnaire to my SR to see who she knows so I can double check here. I probably won't get a response for over a week, but who knows.
Hey Pam where are you all from?It would be great if our kds did know each other. Are you going to the meet n greet?
