Yeah true. :D But yeah that's probably what happened. Thursdays are my letter days! I send them every day though :)
Didn't get a letter today...will hope again for tomorrow. I know things from this point will be getting very intense and move fast for them. But we are halfway now! If you don't mind keep the rest of us updated if you hear from your SR. Good luck!
Anyone else get letters today? :)
Did you get a letter?? I didn't, and thats very unusual for him. Last week he had written me 3...this week nothing. If you don't mind, if you got a letter can you update us on how the division is doing?
Yeah, I got 3 in one envelope and 1 in another. He didn't have much to say for the div as a whole but pretty much they got their dress uniforms and they're doing a lot more PT.
Thank you for the update! Glad they are doing more PT, my SR was struggling with the run, so hopefully that helps him. Very glad you got letters! Maybe mine will come around tomorrow.
Yeah, my SR missed his first PFA because he was SIQ and he struggled with the run as well but made it in the EXACT amount of time he had available lol!
My daughter got a letter from her brother.  Told her to do well in school.  She is looking for a job and he told her high school is important so you can have lots of options in her future.  It is funny to hear your own words coming out of your kids mouths.  I guess he is growing up- maturing.

lol Same thing happened to me yesterday when my daughter got a letter from her brother (my SR). She will graduate college in the spring, and is having some issues with her boyfriend, and he said that she needed to focus on education, its what he wished he had done. Also to follow her heart because we all deserve to be happy. I thought it was so sweet...in a time when he probably has no energy or motivation to spare, he's sharing with her. Hoping for phone calls this week!!

My lil brother is SR on Ship 11, Div 001 (I basically raised him)...ready for him to come home...worried sick about him being gone : (
Welcome to the group! Have you been receiving letters? We kinda keep each other updated here, as much as we can without saying too much. From what I've heard so far, your SR is in a great division...they seemed to be pulling together. I'm pouting about not getting a letter today, but last week was more than I expected so I just need to be more patient. :)
My son won a phone call home...they had some big wigs there for inspections and looking around.  He answered a question when they asked so he got a quick phone call home.  He said they are ahead in their studies so they will finish early the last week of camp.  They are all getting anxious about the confidence chamber next week.  He was also able to tell us that he is off to his A school the day after PIR so he is grad and go.  He is headed to Nuke school which I know some of you may have guys in this division going there.  It was great to hear from him.  I hope to get a letter tomorrow.  We are on the West Coast so mail takes a while.
