I liked that barbydahllz originally said something about a shirt w/ our NFM names on it or we all wear the same color scarf or shirt. Maybe kev can enlighten us on the weather since he's only 30 min away.
I might have to make my out PIR ribbons. Have to check w/ lala.
Any other thoughts?
@gmansmom- scarfs sound great!

I heard from my SR last night. :) he called around 8pm and sounded great! He is ready for this upcoming week and wants to get to battle stations, he said he is ready to get to A school. I can't believe we are so close to PIR! getting very excited!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I know my SR was bummed about yours barbydahllz! I hope he heals quickly!
Really?? Thats toooooo sweet . I hope he heals quick too

Weather forecast shows a 60% chance on snow on Thursday, 1/12. I sure hope flights into Chicago aren't affected.

Wow! I haven't seen that. That's why I'm flying in on the 11th! Good luck to us!

I live about 2 1/2 hours east of Chicago and when I called the motel where we are staying Monday I ask the gal the forcast she told me mid 20's sunny but know how fast the weather changes she said at that time no snow, for all of our sakes hope no snow.  We just 10" here in northeren IN this week but our forcast for the next 7 days upper 30's to lower 40's good bye snow!!!!

We have had an extremely mild winter here, but that could change at a moments notice. The are calling for periods of ice, rain and snow from Jan 11th-13th. Temps mid 30's down to mid 20's It's still to far away to predict so that could mean anything. Over the weekend and by Monday for sure we should get an Idea of whats it's going to be like.

Kev. I think you are the closest so keep us informed. Obviously when I get there wed I will know too but I'm dependant on sarge for my transportation & I'm just a Cali girl as far as this cold weather goes!

Yup, the forecast keeps changing every time I check. The latest one shows better conditions on Thursday, our travel day. We'll just have to wait and see as we get closer and see what the weather guessers say.
