Welcome Mary Z

It's the Division that counts, they should be together!

Go to Page 29 on the PIR 05/26/11 group.

Scroll down and read the three comments by JessicaB SailorMom.(posted on April 6) I don't know how to link it correctly ;-(

These explain about ships and divisions.

Hope it helps.

You shoud make a recording like "this call will be recorded in order to serve you better" But "This call may end suddinly if your support software specialist gets a call from her son that is in Navy Basic Training!"
I just got a call from my PR, he said it was for background checks since he will be going into CTI, but we got to chat for 12 minutes! Ah I am a happy girlllll! He said that they haven't been given their mail yet! Which i was surprised to hear but he said that they should soon. Also, he said that he has had very little time to write but he was trying to write a little each day and he will be able to send out mail this Sunday! He also said that its tough, but he is staying strong and this week has actually gone by faster and things are starting to get better. He was so surprised when I told him I have been in contact with his shipmates moms/girlfriends/wives etc. He thought it was pretty cool, (even though I feel like a stalker) haha.
Ok I guess I can stop stalking the mail person untill next week!! If you get a call again could you ask him about my son? please maybe?? please please please....LOL i will priv mesg his name
MAIL CAME NO LETTER :(

The last letter i sent I told him that you told us about your hubby, I put on the bottom of the letter

DRINK DRINK DRINK DRINK DRINK AND THEN DRINK SOME MORE! lol

Thanks so much for the update on my son.  You are so great in keeping me updated.  so glad he went back into ship 11 Div 180 his same group.  I was also really worried about him.   I know when I write I will tell him to keep drinking the water.  Love Mom
Thanks again for the update.
I didn't really get that much detail, just that they took their initial PT test and their swim test where they jump of the high dive. They seem to be quite busy, so he said the week is going by faster that his first week there. He also said it was a lot harder than he expected it to be, but that could be different for your son, he might think its no big deal! (I hope that's the case) They seemed to be getting along well with each other. I didn't ask about the food, which I meant to but forgot. He just said a lot were feeling sick, but nothing serious.
Well, just got the mail, and no letter's yet. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten any mail from their SR's?  I'd hate to think that mine were just not writing LOL I know that they are probably just doing PT and studying until they drop. Can't wait to hear from them. I'm so worried that I'm going to miss their phone calls  : /   Does anyone know when calls are usually made?
I don't think anyone in 11/180 has gotten letters...: ( some have talked to them for security clearence and some have talked to them because they were sick and had to go to the hosp. So if you have not gotten a call that is good.. it seems so. The wife that talked to hubby said he told her that they had not gotten any mail and had not had time to write. So sounds like that is true for all of the 11/180
Thanks, I  guess they get their mail by pony express Lol
