Yeah I wish, that would be nice  : )
Hello everyone!!!  No news yet.  I get worried most days, but I have read the no news is good news I guess.  I just wonder if he passed all his stuff I cannot wait to hear something.  I live in Michigan seems like I might get something first, but I do not know how the mail works I guess.  If i hear anything I will let everyone know!!!!  Good Luck to everyone!!!
Julie, they can have their laptops and phones in A School.  We will be in touch with our SRs again and I can't wait.  I made an Easter Basket for my boy too.  Yes, he's too old, but he still wants one, heavy on the chocolate, movies and video games.  This EB is not that rich so he's getting the usual stuff.  :)  Sounds like the SRs are starting to call and mail so we should all know more soon.  Take care.
Julie and all Moms of the 11/180, I am reminded what great friends they are probably making at boot camp.  My son is 19 and I know there are other boys there, probably first time away from home.  They are facing huge challenges together and succeeding.   The Navy is bonding lots of people together who might otherwise never meet.  Just looking for the good in the missing of our boys :)
Yay!!!  I got a two minute call tonight!!!  It was wonderful he said letters will be coming soon!!!!
Great news Skell.  I got a brief message last night too so it sounds like the RDC for our division is letting them loose a little.  That must mean they are doing reasonably well.
great news to both of you! They should have been able to write and send out their letters, so tomorrow they should be in the mail! So expect them sometime soon and expect another phone call this week also, from what I heard, they should be awarded phone calls towards the end of the week! FINGERS CROSSED you all get to hear from your SRs! : )
We also heard from our SR last night about the PIR date. He said he is doing good and thought it was funny that all of us talk and already know wha'ts going on. Said BC is just like he thought it would be but surprised by how many don't know their left from their right :) AND he's making friends! I am very relieved that he is doing well.
julie I got a call last night too! Im sad you didn't. did if from letter have the correct date on it?? If it did maybe that is why he didnot call.Cuz that is why they were able to call to let family know the correct grad date.  IDK... sorry
Hi ladies, I am new to this, so bear with me. I have been reading your postings and it is encouraging. My son is in the same group, probably the oldest one of them. He is 30, but I am still going through the Empty Nest Syndrome. We have always been very close and spoke at least once a week. I am hoping I will get a phone call soon.  Thank you for your postings!!
Thank you
Welcome Momma.  We are an understanding group of Moms and Wives, plus one sailor boyfriend and a Dad or two.  This site is great to get news about our SR's division.  We learn stuff from others' calls and we have a couple of great mentors on the PIR site who guide us.  We are glad you're here.  38 days and counting.......
