Already know of one other family member w/a sailor in this division. Anyone know how they are grouped?  Does their rate/job have anything to do with it?  Looking forward to meeting families at graduation!

Not sure but my son is a Machinist Mate.
Maybe coincidental, but my son is a Nuke, too. Hope we can meet up at the meet and greet the night before PIR. I keep reading that they tend to be at the Ramada (I think in Waukegan?) so I'm going to try to stay somewhere in that area.
They are grouped by how they arrive. I have a daughter that was in boot camp Jan-March and she said that when they arrive on the bus they count them off. There is no rhyme or reason to it. My Son is a CT. Hope you are all doing well I you have any questions I can try to answer them since I have been through this before.
Looks like they have worked it out and are working together I am proud of them. Go 370!!!
I am so glad your guys are working together! What great news!
Got a letter from my div 370 SR and he feels confident of graduating, said he was proud of himself for passing physical tests even with an injury. He did mention that this week would be qualified with 9 mm pistol and 12 gauge shotgun, beginning firefighting and possibly the gas chamber. So thankful my husband and sons like to go to the shooting range, hope it pays off!
I think most of us 370 moms tend to post in the PIR 11/12 group, but would love to have a "roll call" to see who's here for 370! Went to Target today and got a battery-powered candle and a blue light bulb. Will put it by his senior picture in the living room for BS-21, where I already have a mini Navy flag and American flag.
GO 370!
My son is in 370! Looking forward to 11/12. Will be on the road so I like your idea of battery powered candle. Will have to make a trip to Target.
These young men have struggled through and have come out better men on the other side of it. I am so proud of my son in law, I know that this has been a struggle but he should be so proud of himself that he made it through. I am so very proud of him I can't explain it. My youngest daughter went through bootcamp in January and graduated in March and is now stationed in San Diego. My husband was in the Navy for 9 years so my family is Navy through and through. I am proud of "my kids" and I can't wait to see him graduate in a few days!!
Toni, so it's your son-in-law who is in 370? My boy was worried he would be an old man at RTC, being 22, but sure sounds like he's in good company, lots of them are not fresh out of high school! Look forward to meeting you! But I'm not looking forward to telling Dennis that his college team lost their BIG rivalry game in OT last night (GA vs FLA). But at least it was close!
His name is Mitchell he is 20
Hi 370! I just wanted to say how cool it is to see the change in the conversation in this group. You all had it really rough in the beginning, but to see it turn around and the talk of how good they are doing is so encouraging! I'm so happy for all of you and PROUD of your SR's.
I am so proud of 370 too !! They finally have all come together and realized that they have to do that to graduate ! I am really excited about seeing my son. I am proud of the whole DIV for coming together and working hard to get to where they are right now. I can't wait until Nov 12 !! GO 370 !!
