Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 161 and 162

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Bella. In my letters to my SR I told her about this site. I wonder if our SR are BB? There is also a Facebook site- search for PIR 05-02-14 Navy Bootcamp. It has been about 3 weeks since our last call and no letter this week. Hope we get a call this weekend!

Good morning everyone.  Thoughts and prayers for our SRs.  Hoping we get calls this weekend so we know they made it through Hell Week!  Only 13 more days!

Lucky day! Received a 10 minute phone call. It was perfect timing as we were celebrating Easter early with family! Div 161 did a great job this week! Hoping everyone gets a call today!

I am so nervous and excited 7 days! what if we don't get a call? how will we know they passed? or heaven forbid not...

I read somewhere that if you get the "I'm A Sailor Call" to ask how the rest of the division did. Please post here as I understand that Div 161 and 162 will be going to Battle stations together. This way we all know just in case one of our SRs have watch and can't call. I could be mistaken. I know next week I will be watching this site like a hawk for some clue on their success!

well folks the time is nearly here, waiting on the "call" I am told it will be Tuesday 2pm- 8pm cst. waiting is not my best thing. 5 days 13 hours 45 mins. till Graduation!!!! thank you to all of those who gave advice listened and shared stories of their SR. I look forward to meeting those attending Sarge's Meet n greet on Thursday. Bravo Zulu ! New Sailors!!
