For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 12 (USS Triton) Divisons 167 and 168 (Brother Divisions)
Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisons 167 and 168.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

I am really mad.....was planning on driving up for PIR with our Six year old grandson because originally they said under 12 did not have to be on access list. Now I have found out they do....I will not go now....Thanks Navy....

backpacker(Ship12/167) Yes, this is confusing as there is still old information floating around out there. My SR thought that her sister who is a Leut-commander in the commissioned corp. could come without being on the list. However, they have posted new regulations and no longer allow this. Please don't let that keep you from attending your SRs graduation. The Navy won't miss you, but your SR will.

Did anyone find out the flag for 168?? I too would like to know so I can be zoned into that area when they're in the ceremony hall. (bringing binoculars) :)

This is what my daughter wrote in a letter I rec'd a couple weeks ago. "We are in the process of designing our flag. It will have on one side a picture drawn of our division Chief kicking a clown mask out of a recruit's hand (he calls us clowns.) the other side will have an anchor with our RDC's names and our Div# and "Honor, Courage and Commitment." I thought it strange at first, but after thinking about it, I think it means they are no longer clowns, but now are Sailors.

My daughter said final PTA is Friday (tomorrow). Today is wk 6 day 1...I think. that's what I've got on my calendar, from previous info.

Hello ladies! 2 more weeks left YAH! I was talking to my ex-husband yesterday about the final PT and info about battle stations, and I said how nerve raking the waiting is, and that I feel like I'm waiting for our son to be born again. So we're all "expecting" the congrats I'm a sailor call.
