Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 189 and 190

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Praying for a letter or call or something.....missing my son!  Hope everyone hears something soon!  Have a great weekend1

Me too! When I spoke to my bf last Saturday when he called he said they'd be able to mail out their letters Sunday (Monday) haven't gotten anything yet..maybe the got into trouble/punished for something and now the div had to wait to mail out or something?! Maybe we'll get a call or letter today though!:) will post if either of the two happen :)

Mail just ran here and still nothing...hoping you have better luck......praying for a call!  Have a good day :0)

My son is on Ship 12 DIv 189 and I talked to him on Saturday and he said that the mail didn't go out last week because the CC didn't pick them up.  So the letters will be mailed out tomorrow

Hi Punkindoll.  Never have checked the mail as much as I do these days.  Even to see his handwriting on an envelope, it gives me comfort because I do miss him so much.  I can only imagine what they feel like.  At least we got other family members to hold on to.  Take care.

Punkindoll: My daughter is in your sons brother DIV...she is in DIV 190....I got to talk to her on Saturday as well.

ALL:  I had just got to Great Clips to get my youngest daughter's hair cut and Samantha called just as Taliah was getting in the chair to get her hair cut.  The lady was asking me how I wanted it cut and my phone rings...I quickly tell her up to her shortest layer and answered her phone.  I'm sure the lady thought I was crazy but us Moms drop everything for those phone calls and then everything I wanted to ask her goes out my mind so I don't get to ask her most of what I want to ask!! UGH, oh well I ask in my letters...it just takes longer to get an answer that was but oh well.  She said she is doing Ship Staff, she got the peanut butter shot and it did hurt like heck, said she almost couldn't walk for a day, got a tooth pulled but forgot to ask if they pulled her wisdom teeth too because some say they do, she has been doing a LOT of studing, she past her swim test, the run and push-ups but not the sit-ups....she said she thinks they were counting wrong....lol...:)  She sounded so much better than last Saturday when she called in tears.  I wanted to ask her if there were an SR's not receiving mail so I could send an extra letter for one but I think I will anyway!  Like I said all thoughts go out of my mind when she calls!!! :)  I hope everyone has a fantabulous Monday....only 39 more days for us or 6 Fridays and we get to see our loved ones!!! :)

My daughter is also in DIV 190.

Tonia:  Did you get a call from your daughter this weekend?  Those phone calls and letters sure help put me at ease!  The first phone call was the worst but this weekend was a completely different call....she was not crying as soon as I answered!  WHEW!!! :)

I received a call on Sunday she had her wisdom teeth pulled on top of everything she was going through. I just wanted to hug her so bad. She was excited she passed her swimming test. I miss her so much!! I can't wait to see her. Booking hotel today.

My Son gets his wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow.  He is so nervous about it.  I cant wait to see him at the graduation.  I hope we get to spend some time with them.

Does anyone know how much time we can spend with them graduation weekend? Are any of you going to the meet and greet Thursday?

What time is the meet and greet on Thursday
