Sorry to break it to you m4b but battlestations aren't until 9/27 or 9/28 somewhere in there :( :(
Welcome to MT'sBubba!! :) :)
Thanks so much. This site is great. I miss the kid and look forward to PIR!!!
OMG...how have you girls been???? I feel like I have been away forever!!! Welcome, Jenn's StepMom!!!

I received a letter from Paul last Friday...seems like weeks ago. He was very STRESSED, and I would have to say this letter sounded the worst so far :( He is very worried about passing all of the tests and inspections. Apparently, they are told that they will not graduate if they don't pass. And, Paul is a "worry-wart"!! Being the typical boy he does not share any good (or juicy) info...so thanks, to all of you that do get info and share...you help to pull me thru! We should get a graduation for enduring this 8 weeks!

I was in the grocery store last nite...waiting at the deli counter for my turn...there was a young Mom standing next to me with her cute little 1 year-old boy...I started to cry, felt like a crazy person!! I explained to her that "my boy" was in BC and I haven't talked to him since August 9th...I told her to love that little guy every chance she gets!!! (Eyes welling up, again...sigh)

Take Care! I hope we get better letters this week! Cindy :)
CIndy, T's was bad too :( I felt so bad for her!! You made me well up too :(
No letter and no call. I am disappointed. I mailed my daughter calling cards thinking she would get to call more. This group only received one call after the "I'm here" call. That's not very fair. Well I hope to hear from her soon.
I agree!! I bought tiff two 700 min cards, what a waste :( I usually do not get my mail until Thursdays, so hoping for tomorrow. I hope they get to call us soon!! Did any 328 get mail today?
No mail in Parkton, Maryland yesterday...but, it seems to come on Thursday. So, hopefully TODAY!! I sure hope he sounds better this week! I felt so bad for him last week.

I have prepared myself for no phone call until after BattleStations...if Paul happens to call before then I will be ecstatic!!! I am so excited to realize that I will be on a plane in 2 weeks to see my boy!!!

Sharon, I am gonna give Tiff a BIG HUG on October 1st (and you, too)...the info she gives to you, and that you share with us, really pulls my daughter and I thru!!!! We would know nothing if it weren't for your "Sailor Girl"!!! She is my 328 Sweetheart!! Please, send her a big GOOD LUCK from Paul's Mom & Sister!!

Have a good day 328 Support Crew...wishing letters for all!! Cindy :)
I got a letter last night from the kid. :) She sounds tired and stressed about passing the exams as you all have said. She said that she has learned a lot, and if she doesn't pass the next big exam, she will be OK. It is hard to have to sit by and read about how hard they are working, and not be able to make it all better. And she is looking forward to Oct. 1st!!! Another big exam is today, so fingers crossed.
Hi everyone,
I got a letter today. I had written a letter to him on 9/4 with some fill in the blanks. He said things are getting better. He is working to get flag duty where he will be up front, but that's not set in stone. But the good news is that he will get liberty Friday, Sat. or Sun. and he is the Division's Honor Sailor. I don't know what that means, but it sounds good. I hope all of you get letters today.
That's all I know for now. Hang in there, it won't be long now!
Thanks to you all for sharing your letters! :) Tiffs sister didn't get one either today, I just thought, a lot of people send her mail this past week and maybe she was writing them thank you notes instead of writing us?? Yeah, I will think that is why we didn't mail! hahaha
Yeah... the one that is first, the one shooting, looks like a HUGE Tiffany! hahahaha Let me go get the pic and post it here... hold on!!
