Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 163 and 164

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning everyone!  Three more weeks!!

Hi everyone.....I hope everyone is getting excited about the graduation coming up...has anyone been able to talk with their son or husband?

Joy - I have not heard from my son in weeks.  The only communications I have received from him lately have been a couple of letters. He said he has been standing watch a lot so he has not had much time to write.  I am hoping that we all get a calls this week (but I am not holding my breath).  I miss him so much.  He seems to really like boot camp so I am not really too worried about him, I just miss him terribly.  I can hardly wait for 5/2.

Hi I am new to this site, but my son is in Div 163, got a real treat had a quick phone call from him.  I know how busy they are, but wish they had a little more time to contact family.  Miss his dearly.  I am glad that we only have a couple weeks till PIR and then get to see him.  I just cant imagine what that will be like.

He seems fine and even got a letter, sounds like the division still have some goof offs causing problems, you would think by now they would get it that following the rules is the way to go.  I know these last 2 weeks are going to intense,  Will be glad to see the 2nd!  I am glad I finally found this site and sorry it took so long, but I have read all the comments and its sure helps to know that there are others feeling the same.

Hope you hear from you sailors to be soon,

Deb

I got a call yesterday afternoon as well.  What a terrific surprise.  Like the rest of you I am counting down until 5/2/14!!!

Yes but he waa as worried of he would pass his certification for swim. I'm nervous

Div 164 will have their picture taken for Trivia Tuesday! I finally won today! :D I hope you're all as excited as I am!

Good job AWhale!! Thank you thank you! Can't wait to see our Sailors.

AWhale excellent job!!! I don't mean to sound stupid but where do I go to see the picture?  I think it is on facebook (which i don't do).  My husband and kids have facebook perhaps they can pull it up?  All I know is I am dying to see the picture.

Have them go to this FB page, and like it. Then they will see the picture when posted. I am sure someone will post it on here also. I did mine (160) when it was posted.

Good
So not sure if I posted thr last message we had a fiire drill at work so will write get to talk to our son/daughter/spouses. As I look at the post battle stations are up now and we should be expecting a call next if a recruiter does not pass anything they will be held back if do how long. I'm also praying for the other families that has experienced an injury or some type of distraction. I know I'm having some anxiety as may approaches as my son is finding it difficult as well
