Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 061 and 062

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning,

I always check in here when I wake up. I feel this is more my info home than FB, but I go on both. I like that this is a more intimate group. Happy New Year

I have not heard from my SR in 061 this week. We did get a letter from another SR in his division, which mentioned they still had not received mail from the past couple weeks at that time (it was dated 12/31). Has anyone from this division heard anything encouraging? It is hard not to feel discouraged when reading all the other divisions are calling yesterday and today...on top of feeling like ours is the only division that seemed to have no one photographed.

Thanks for any word!

I just saw on FB 061 passed Marlins Spike...gotta go find out what that is ;)

Is there a different FB page we should be looking at?  I only have the RTC page

Where do you find that info on FB

Good morning,

I PMd you with the link. There is a group of about six moms who commented on it...it's the group that also mentioned an SR was reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas in their division.

Happy Day!

Tidbits from the mail...Div 061 earned all their possible flags and passed all their zone and DMI inspections. I actually don't know what that means....another thing to go look up ;) An SR with initials RH can use a lot of encouragement and prayer. Division cohesion seems excellent. I heard about a dad/ husband who is the religious PO. My SR has really enjoyed getting to know him. They got to sing a lot of Christmas hymns at church. Got a few letters from other SRs. One of them, with last initial D (don't know his first initial) said "it's been cool to get to know a lot of new friends...but WE Miss GIRLS!"

Thank you for the information! Have not heard from my son, seems like forever!

Hi Sarah, My son is going to Charleston.
How do I get accepted on FB
Just got a call from my SR he got to make a 5 min call is doing well says BS21 is next week but didn't get a date does anyone now what day next week

Oh, thanks for posting that! I have been praying for that event, not knowing exactly when it is. I am glad you heard from him!
