Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 061 and 062

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Too funny poodle lady we are from Florida too. Hopefully our daughters found each other and feel a little closer to home together :)

Nadia,  glad to know someone else is "enjoying" this 80 degree weather with me!  I feel for our girls; I know mine has never been in weather so cold as what they are experiencing in Great Lakes.  I do hope they have found each other and made a connection.

I'm hoping we might get a letter either tomorrow or Thursday if they were permitted to write on Sunday.  Every night I try to write a little to her and mail something every other day.  My husband told me she probably doesn't have time to read all the letters I've written . . .but at least it helps me with the missing her by sharing my day and asking her questions.  The question part is kind of like when she was home; half the time she never answered me anyway!  It's time for a glass of wine . . . .

Has anyone answered the trivia question? I have been trying, but it's hard!!!! Cannot find answers anywhere and there are already several who have answered.

I tried too! My friend found the ships. She said the uss northhampton and uss Chester and in 1930 but we can't find any further info

I'm really not sure where to look. I think I googled every Navy website listed! Haha

I looked all over google and my friend searched the article database from her college!! I just want to see my husband :(

The trivia question today was very hard! I am a high school librarian and I teach research skills, I thought this would be a piece of cake for me . . . my staff and I couldn't find much of anything!  Unfortunately, we were very busy today and I didn't have much time to devote to the research so I'm going to blame it on that!  At this point not knowing if someone already posted the correct answer, I don't want to keep searching.  There is always next week.  The question was posted just after 11:00 am eastern time so I will be waiting for it!

I think if they found each other they are going to be great friends because yours sounds a lot like mine. It really is like talking to yourself lol. I completely agree, mine has never experienced weather as cold as she is now. Hopefully they acclimate quickly and don't spend the whole time sick.
Anyone in div 062 feel free to friend me

Just sent it!

Did anyone else finally get a letter? I did. Thank God. After almost a month of no contact I really needed something :)

Glad for you Nadia!  My son and daughter-in-law received a letter from my daughter today . . . but sadly I did not :(

My daughter-in-law read the letter to me and my daughter sounds like she is doing great.
