Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 121 and 122

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

i don't like the no calls either

I finally got a letter with 12 days delay but I'm happy it came. Hell week is over and we are looking for PAR. I noticed that the night before PAR there are three separate meet and greet's taking place. I was thinking if all the parents of ship 14 div 122 they feel getting together perhaps in one of those M&G...just an idea

I"m open to attend any. I will be in the area late on the 20th, it will be nice if all the ship 14 parents get together.

Green Greek, I think that's a good idea ! Would be nice to meet other parents from our kids ship ! I'm flying in Thursday afternoon from Ma. Where are you from ? What hotel are you staying at ? We'll be at the Navy Lodge.

i

m flying 10 pm on the 20th and I'm staying in a stay-bridge suites 10 miles away. We are from California  but now I'm in a work assignment in Canada. I will be nice if all get together

great news so looks like we are getting ready for battle stations....perfect....perfect!!!

Hi Folks, did any of you received a call this weekend? Any news? I know that no news = Good news but.....

Hi green greek , no phone call for us again this wknd :( I haven't talked to my daughter since 2/9. Can't wait to see her in 11 days !! Yay !

I'm wondering why they haven't let them call...punishment for something or mental preparation for battle stations 21?

Hello to all of you. my son Dalton is in this Division. I haven't heard from him but once since he left. I am so lost with all this stuff. I am glad to know that i'm not the only one that hasn't heard from their son or daughter by phone. I got a letter at least.

Talking with others here and on the Navy for dads site I learned that no news is good news, only a week left before PIR

Hello all, my daughter is in 14/122 and we have received three calls. The first one on arrival, then two more. Upon reading through a bunch of areas on this board I found one thing (an official guide) that said they will only be allowed 3 calls while at boot camp. One telling us they are there, and two more. We have received all of those at my house. It also said that during the last week we should receive one more call. In addition it states that they will be allowed to call if they are injured or fail an area, which sets their graduation date back. SOOOOO after reading all of that I would say we are all good to go and should all be at graduation next Friday. My only concern now is that the area is calling for snow next Thursday, yuk!
