Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 197 and 198

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Okay, so got a phone call from the kid on Wednesday, she sounded great!  The group just got their first flag!  She was really excited about it!

Got a letter Thursday saying she had her wisdom teeth taken out last week......WOW, really????  She never said anything on the phone..........that is kinda info that a Mom needs to know, doncha think???  Am I the only Mom that doesn't get info from their kid?

I am thrilled that she is doing so well, but come on kid, you need to tell me these things.  So, Moms, am I overreacting or what?

How is our group doing? I heard from my son last Wednesday for just a few minutes. He sounded good just tired. Is Div 198 doing well on all the drills?
Finally got to hear from my son on mothers day they are over half way there I'm getting so excited for graduation
Heard on Facebook that Ship 14 Div 198 is doing great on all tests and inspections. Good news for me since I haven't heard from my son since May 7.

how did you hear that on Facebook??? I haven't heard from my daughter in almost a week!!!

I joined that PiR group 6-13-2014 and people post all the time hearing from their kids and boyfriends girlfriends, I guess some in Division 198 are still writing. My son hasn't. They said it was a real crunch time. A lot of people on Navy for Moms are on there. You should check it out, :)
Does anyone know if they have had there final PDA Ship 14 Div 198
I don't know Kelly from what I have heard the Battle stations is next week. I haven't gotten a letter or call from Devin since May 7. I feel completely in the dark. I hope everything is going o.k. I joined the facebook group and they seem to have a lot of info daily on there. Some of them get a ton of phone calls and letters.
Thanks dentalchick could you send me the link for facebook
Hey Kelly I just sent it to you in a message. :)

I would like the link as well.......I haven't heard from my daughter in a few weeks and I am getting kinda worried

Hello. I sent you a friend request also so I could invite you on facebook but I need to know your name on there like I did with Kelly. I did hear from Devin through Kelsey and their division is doing better. I think they have finally pulled together is what he said in the letter. He said he had not had time to write because he works out during his free time, he leaves 2 am Sat morning for Charleston so he wants us to go with him to the airport. I have only gotten one letter this whole time so I understand. The facebook is PIR 06-13-14 7 divisions. There is quite a few from Our divisions that is on there all the time, let me know if you need help with it. :)
