FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hi all!  This is a discussion I've started for the families with recruits in Ship 2, Div 952.  Of course anyone can join, but this will help those of us in this specific group get to know each other.

Hi all! I am not an official 11/12 PIR mom but I wanted to wish you all the best and let you know your sailors are in my prayers. My daughter is on ship 02 div 902 for PIR 11/24/10. She will be singing in the choir for your sailors PIR. I would love to see pictures if any post them. Thanks and the best to you all and your sons and daughters!

Time to brag about 952....When I talked to my Sailor he said they got the HIGHEST BS21 score in forever! A 4.98 out of 5 and they have the most flags (ALL of them) of all divisions including the Battlestations flag! Boy - do we have some good ones or what!
Yeah my son said their RDC was jumping up and down!! So proud of our SAILORS!! Gotta love the sound of it!!! HOOYAH 952!!

WOO HOO!!! Are we proud of our Division, or WHAT?!!!! My call got dropped on my cell phone, but later I was in tears thinkiong about how good they actuially did. Can't wait!
I just broke into tears when I heard from Travis. I am so proud of them all! He sounded so tired and yet so good at the same time. I'm happy for all of us!

I didn't see an oboe. :( I took a couple pics, but they arent great. Other end from us.

Also took pics of the choir,but not a good angle too see much, they were in a little half circle.

I am on my cell phone and dont have access to computrer right now, but will try to get them up asap for you guys to check out. Chances are may be some on Facebook too.
Thank you for taking them, maybe she didn't play, I hope that's not the case though, take your time and enjoy the weekend!! The people from the Public Affairs always put pictures almost immediate the ceremony, but yesterday was the exception! :( go figure!
