So sad they didn't get pictures of the girls :(. But at same time so happy for those who got pictures of their Sons/Husbands/BF ect. ect. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

I saw the picture and tagged my husband Travis Simek in it. I was so happy. BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!!!!

My son is also in the division. We got our call on Christmas Eve. It was the best present we could have asked for. We got to talk to him for about an hour. Hope everyone got a call. We also found their division picture on facebook. The name on facebook is U.S Navy Recruit Training Command and the photos are under division Christmas photos. Just have to find theirs. It is division 47 and 48. Hope everyone gets to see it.

I only had 11 1/2 minutes to tslk to him :( I wonder y he only gets 15 min phone calls.

He was probably being nice and giving some of his time up for others!

Maybe I just hope he realizes his daughter needs more that 2 min. Because I need questiona answered

Josie, I sent you a message.  Are you on FB?  Your son is in div 48 right?  I'd like to talk and compare notes to see how they are doing....

Are any of you going to a meet and greet? Which one and why? Trying to decide which one if any. Have you made all your reservations? We've not since now my SR is having shin splint issues. Gets X-rays Tuesday, said he will write ASAP to let us know if all goes well so we can get this thing planned. What hotel did you all decide on? Thanks for the info. Seems like we don't have a lot of moms from our ship/div on here. Guess lots don't know about it.

The pictures were awesome!!  But there were none of the women in these divisions!!  That's a raw deal :-)

I know JudyAnn :( was sad & happy at same time, glad that those with male SRs in our division & brother division got to see them. Just wish they would've done same with the gals. Oh, btw, got letter from my daughter today her & your daughter are friends (your daugter is in rack beside my daughter :) ).

Ya Know... I think those pictures are posted according to what the winner of the daily trivia contest requests.  Like you have to win the contest to get your div's pic posted.  Nothing is ever easy is it :-)  I still loved looking at them all...quite an impressive bunch they all make!

So our girls are bunk neighbors!!  That's cool.  On her last call home, my SR said she was approached by several in her div asking about all the phone calls she was supposed to have gotten to make... that "their mom had told them..."  obviously my comments on here went through moms to SR's to my SR...lol... no harm done, she thought it was funny.  I'd mentioned it to her recruiter and FC1 laughed and said "good for her" so... I guess :-)  That window of opportunity has, of course, been closed by now but it was fun while it lasted.

The end of Jan is going to come very quickly...and then we'll be counting the days until leave after A-school.  Where is your daughter going to A-school at?  What's her job rating?

Judy

I think the random Christmas pictures on the FB RTC site was just them taking random pictures for Christmas not for those of the daily trivia contest. Tues. is usally the contest thing...I've tried but some ppl are really fast to answer..lol.

Yep they are rack neighbors :). Yeah my daughter probably was one of those who asked about the phone calls. I wrote her & asked if she knew the girl & said I hope everything is ok with her & hope the calls are just health/or security calls nothing serious..lol. Yeah it was eventually going to close. I'm assuming she called Chirstmas Eve, what a perfect Christmas gift huh? I sure do hope the next 28 days go by really quickly, today was not a very good day for me :(. I just keep my thoughts on PIR :).  So excited for leave after A-school :). Her A-school is in Great Lakes....MM (machinist mate). What about your daughters'?
