OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son.  Thought I'd try a new discussion?  I know 266 is brother div. with 265.  There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

Hi! My son is in division 265, everything is still new to me but have read that they are brother divisions, I would have thought I would be able to find people from the same division...still looking

Welcome!  Melette8, Cody future son in law is in 266 they are brother divisions and will train together.  Haven't found many moms of guys in Div 266 yet only Mom of Tom if you know of any please have them mention ship9/Div 266.  Still love all you moms with daughters in 266 I have 2 daughters and but I do have 2 beautiful young grandsons too too little for the Navy 6 and 1& 1/2.


Hello ladies my daughter is in division 265 ship 9 we miss her so very much.Thank you all for being here when we need a little reasurance. Hope i can meet some of u in person at graduation we are coming from Battle Creek Michigan not to far from chicago about 3 hours or so.

My son is in Division 265.  I too am new and keep trying to read as much as I can.  I dont know if thats good or bad.  I read on here a week by week of what happens during BC.  It was very informative but I cant say that it eased my mind any. 

Hello - my son is also in Div 265.  Everything is still a little new to me as well.  I keep trying to find time to be on N4M so I can get more information on PIR etc.  We are traveling from Florida, so have a lot of planning and $ saving to do in the next few weeks.


We are coming from Nevada, so lots of planning for us too!  And that will be my daughter's birthday weekend. What a great 7th birthday, she gets to go see her brother!  I know I am counting the days!

I know during the day all of them are together except when its time to go to bed the boys have different barracks. Nice to meet you.:-)

Hi my daugther is in Div 265 also, who is your son? We live in Atlanta Georgia.

MY son is Garrett.  We got a letter from him on Thursday.  He is doing well, keeping a good attitude so far.
