Mine also!! She will be 19 on 11/3, she told us not to send anything that says birthday on it or even hints that it is a birthday card!!

Hi Everyone,  I am not very good at doing things on the computer.  I posted the comments below on another page and thought it would go on this one too  LOL!   I don't know why but I got a call from my son on Sunday at 1:00pm California time.  As you can read, he didn't call my cell phone which has not left my side since he left. The best news is that letters from Ship 09-Div 015 are definitely on the way.

Posted Monday morning:

Good Morning Navy Moms & GF's, I have wonderful news!  I received a phone call from my SR!!!!!  That's the good news, the bad news is he called my WORK NUMBER on a Sunday afternoon!  What was he thinking??!!   Anyway, he sounded happy, not down at all.  He said letters are on the way (Yeah!) so you all should be getting letters very soon.  He said he did not have much time but that (1) everything is going ok, (2) they are well fed, (3) they're taking good care of them, (4) It is hard work but nothing is impossible.

Moms & GF's, you have all helped me so much with your comments during the past weeks, so I hope this message from my son feels like one from your son/daughter/boyfriends to you.

Have a blessed day!

We got letters today!!!! I cried!!!!! She is homesick, but doing ok!!!! Can't wait till she can call me!!!!

Congratulations. That is wonderful news.  I hope I get one today too.
