First letter today. Hooray!!  Passed her swim test. Was able to have dessert on her birthday. Maybe calls tomorrow? Ya never know.....LOL

Received my first letter today too!!!  He said all his division members are pretty cool, and nobody seems to have a problem with anyone else (apparently there are usually some issues).  He said the first week was tough, but now the RDC's just make fun of them, instead of trying to make them miserable like the first week.  :-)

They're halfway through now!!

Got a phone call and almost cried I was so happy.  He sounds so grown up.  He says he is loving it there.  He did say that they pulled all his wisdom teeth though so he has to eat soft foods.  Good thing he likes pb&j. lol
Congrats on the call!  I spoke to my daughter. Very emotional!!   She told me about everyone getting their wisdom teeth pulled.
He called his baby sister too, she was at her dad's and she called me.  She sounded like she was jumping up and down she was so excited.  She has always idolized her big brother so she has had a tough time with missing him.
PIR is getting closer and closer for this PIR group. I still can't believe September is almost over, Here is just a heads up, I am working on the ribbons for your group to wear to PIR, I have several that I haven't received the payment for so if you ordered and forgot to send your payment please remember to do that :-) I will begin mailing the ribbons for this PIR group very soon. If you have any questions at all send me a message or a friend request and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks so much!!! I hope you all get some awesome letters and fantastic phone calls this week.  If you haven't seen the Encouraging questionnaire I posted in the discussion be sure and check it out. This is a really good time to send it. It is funny and has a really encouraging paragraph in it about battle stations. You can even send a couple extras for them to share with their friends and they can fill it out and send it to their family. You guys are awesome, Thanks again, Lala

Hello Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons.  I don't recall seeing anything about ribbons for PIR.  Where do I find that info???

lol, it's okay sometimes there are so many comments on the pages that they quickly become lost. There is still plenty of time for your PIR group who haven't ordered yet. They make a great way to show your pride for your Sailor, an awesome way to recognize other N4M members and they also make a great keepsake. Just send me friend request or message and I will send you the info. You can see pics on my page here on this site and on my facebook page, Unique Memory Makers. Thanks
Congrats on your letter.  Mine come on strange days.  My dad always get his on Wednesdays.  My first one came on a Thursday but this last one didn't come until Saturday.  I hope I get one tomorrow to see if things are getting better for my son.
Mine came on a Thursday last week. Keeping my fingers crossed for today :-)

Hi everyone!! I am new to the group and just found this website and it is absolutely amazing. My fiance is in this group. It has been a long and tough road, but only 3 weeks left. I am so proud of him and can't wait to see him at PIR!!
