I grew up in the area and remember that it always seemed to snow on my sister's birthday, March 12th!
Thank you SueDPAO for the weather info. This year in Pennsylvania we are also shaking our fists at the sky was 4 degree this morning. Will be ready for Chicago cold.
Hi, my sons graduation will be March 20th I was also wondering about what things to do when he's in liberty. Considering is going to be very cold. I wanted to take him to the Navy Pier. Will that be a good choice even if its snowed?
You can google "weather" and find sites that give you weekly/daily reports, projection. You can even do that on your smartphone.
Not sure where you are coming from but Great Lakes in March is "shaky" at best!! Having lived in Michigan all my life, I would say you should plan on "Winter-Like" weather. Usually very windy off of Lake Michigan.
The groundhog saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter
Cold. Very Cold. I grew up in Cleveland Ohio, so I'm used to cold winters. The worst part about Great Lakes is the wind. It will cut right through you. It was in the teens for my husbands graduation. A good winter coat, hat, gloves, and maybe a pair of tights or leggings under your pants depending on the wind chill and you'll be fine, even if you're used to warm weather.
