MEPS?? It all depends on your MEPS and your son. Mine had to go to Houston (two hours away) - so they picked him up the night before and he stayed in a nice hotel near MEPS. I got to stay in the same hotel and he spent most of the night in our room. I got to take him out to eat at a nice steak house. The next day, he had to be there REALLY early - so I just went later. They encouraged us to take pictures and watch him swear in. Then, we waited around while they did all the paper work and junk. Then, they took him in a taxi to the airport. I didn't go to the airport with him. Then, about 2 in the morning, I got the "I'm here" call.!! Any more questions - we are here - but you can learn a whole lot by just reading!!
