OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Will you be moving up here with him, too? I'm still looking at apartments for us. My hubby's also aecf. :)
Ya, I read thru all the pages of the AECF group last night. From all that extensive reading, I hear the reserve at eagle ridge in Waukegan is pretty nice. http://www.jupitercommunities.com/apartment/reserve-at-eagle-ridge-...
We have a baby due in Feb, & the pricing for a 2br isn't bad at all.
I think I may just wait until after the baby's born to move up there, but we'll see. I have zero family there and having support w/my first child is very important, ESP during such a brutal winter, but I also wanna be with my hubby. :/
Ya, I was an air force brat. Don't think I'll go to pir though if it ends up costing too much ($800 for 2 round-trip tickets + car rental, & hotel). I'll only be there for two days and S is flying out 23rd anyway. Also, I'm thinking that he can check out the apts while he's in school. Just trying to keep my pregnancy with as little stress possible lol.
We're having a girl. I love my doctor and am soo comfortable with her, but I'm sure I'll be okay lol.

Everything is just happening so fast BC his original ship out date was 6/11/2011!
