Double-check the address the recruiter gave you against those at http://bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp. Recruiters sometimes give a generic address for the RTC and if the street address is not correct, then mail can be delayed for up to 3 weeks.

The form letter can take as long as 3 week to arrive, although most will receive it within 2 weeks. Remember, "No news is good news!" Yes, some who have recruits who arrived that day have received the form letter, but others haven't. When you receive the form letter all depends on when the division formed since form letters go out after the division gets to its ship, which could have been this Tuesday or later if your recruit was one of the first in the division. Yes, some who have recruits who arrived that day have received the form letter, but others haven't. When you receive the form letter all depends on when the division formed since form letters go out after the division gets to its ship, which could have been this Tuesday or later if your recruit was one of the first in the division. Keep wriing those letters and number them and mail them once you get the form letter with the address and PIR date.
