Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Will my sailors sibling be allowed at Graduation if he has a warrant for an old traffic ticket
Will my sailors brother be allowed at her Graduation if he has a warrant for an old traffic ticket? We just found out about it and are not able to take care of it before her graduation. It will break her heart if he isn't allowed.

Hi Sarah - based on 1a on the visitor access form it does state that:"SR can not knowingly request a visitor that has an outstanding warrant". Here is the form for you to look at:
Worst case your son can go to Chicago but won't be able to get on base for the PIR. Your daughter could see him afterwards. I know that's not what you want but that might be how it works.
Post your question in the boot camp group - I left the link in the welcome message on your page - and maybe someone will have a more definitive answer. Also try posting in your PIR group.

Thank you so much. I wasn't sure where to post my question. I already sent the form before we knew. Maybe they will notify me or my sailor before then. But yes, you're right, at least they would get to see each other, even if he can't attend PIR.

Hopefully it works out and maybe for some reason a traffic warrant won't count towards this. We'll keep our fingers crossed - and keep us posted!

Her PIR date is March 6th. I am sooooooooo proud of her. She is RCPO of her unit! She is just 18. <3

Sorry, I think it is her division, not unit. I'm new to all of this. I have only received a couple of letters because she is so busy. She is also in a 900 division so they have to learn something for the graduation ceremony. (If I understood her correctly)

Here's the link to her PIR group - click on it and request to join. My son was also in a 900 division. They will perform at 2 PIR's prior to theirs too.
