Nita, do you have to have surgery on both wrists? Glad to hear your test come back negative for both. How are the hearing aids working out for you too?

Terri, If I think of anything else I will let ya know. She will find her nitch and she will be happy and so will you.

tests for lyme and MS both negative. that's a great thing  and I am having  surgery on my wrists  to hopefully fix the carpal. It will  help to do stuff, but I  am not going to do it at the same time.

Terri, what about dance class or gymnastics? I know my cousins twins both did gymnastics for awhile and the one was better than the other, so she put one in cheerleading and that is what Michaela does and Josie does the gymnatics. They are both good at what they do and found their nitch as well. Michaela said one day at gymnastics that she was not good at that and wishes she was more like her sister. That is when my cousin put her in the cheerleadig to see if that was it for her. Now, that stuff is expensive and they are in the competion parts of it and travel but you don't always have to do that either. I know at our local cheer group and gymnastics you don't have to do the competion part they can do it for fun too. Mia started spring soccer this year and she likes it. There is a little girl, as cute as can be on her team that has special needs as well, she is really shy and her mom is hoping that is gets her out of shell as well. I am sorry your daughter has to go through all that. Kids can be so mean and sometimes I would like the ones that make fun of other kids like her and have them walk in her shoes and see what it is like for her. You and her will find what she is good at one of these days and it will hit you all at once.

Terri, Thanks for telling me that. I guess I really needed to hear some encouragement. I feel kinda sad tonite. kinda overwhelmed to say the least. Tomorrow my mom will be gone 5 mos.10 mos ago I lost my job.  i feel lost sometimes. in 2 days I find out whether I can go look for a job, and  if the Neurologist thinks I can do this. Every day i wake up to see if the numbers on the clock still show up, that means the  power co hasn't shut us off.... Yet

I wonder where I belong... I feel blessed I have my kids, my hubby, and you my dear friends. I know that there is a blessing behind each of my troubles, I have been very distracted lately, can't seem to  get settled down to sew, and I feel like I am keeping some people waiting because I can't seem to get my squares done for the various  quilts I am working on for the  various groups I am in. I still haven't finished pillowcases i have started. But I know this sense of despair is short lived and things will clear up soon. and I hope I find my library books before I have to rob the  money tree from a tree that isn't there. But everything will look up in the morning

@ Marcy.. I hope you can do what you said you would like to do with your  money. I got money from my mom and it seems that I did accomplish somethings, but not what I had planned.. totally.. When  we got our taxes back, we had said many things we would like to do, but the list kept changing. I don't know what we accomplished but I do know we spent money on crap we  wanted at the time, stuff we needed, but could have waited on. Instead of paying on the electric bill.  The stupid lady from the power co  told my hubby ,  that even if we had paid the back stuff, our monthly bill be still be almost 550.00. Well  even so, at least I wouldn't be worrying about it as much. But I know that  we aren't the only ones in this jam, there are others. I will put it in God's hands, and sleep on it tonite, the sun will come up tomorrow, and things might be a bit brighter....good note my sweet friends. sleep tight.

Oh he did get things straightened out, thank goodness.

Blondie, thank you for the advise about the chief thing. I did not know that. I am hoping she is legit,sp, and hopefully she is truthful. I have faith that she is though.

I am excited, I do believe next month we will be getting our inheritence from my aunt and uncle. I hope we sure can use it. I have plans, depends on how much it is, I am going to give some towards the trailor, the more money we have towards that and won't have any debt. As it looks now, we will have to take out a loan for some of it. But if I get enough from the inheritence I will give it to him or what I we may do  is the money we have saved up for my school he can just use that and I will use my money for my school. I am hoping we get enough that I can give him half and I will put the rest in my savings to save to go to Hawaii next year. Although, I really need to lose weight and would like join a gym or something to help me. I was thinking Hypnosis but not sure how it works and would hate to spend that kind of money and it not work at all. I am sure I will figure something out. Then when we they sell thier house we will get more but I will be  happy with whatever we get. I would rather have my aunt and uncle with us but that can't happen now.

we are getting a bit of snow ourselves here too. It looked like a blizzard earlier too. I hope this is our Easter snow and onion snow.

Terri, we did not get on tv the weather guy went to the other side and I was going to make a sign but was not sure if we were going to make it there for sure or not. We were not actually suppose to get to NYC until 8 am. So we were actually early. I want to be there when Ann, Al, Meredith and Matt are there though. We got cold and needed to walk around, so we left early. Oh I would have been mad at my little girl too if I were you. The punishment sounds good to me.

Marcy and Blondie and Terri?  Check out my family haiku in the Japan group. It is kinda cute.

I took care of the dilemma of inviting kids from class to parties.  When Ty was in elementary school, each year I made him fat cookies (  made from cake mix, 1/2-3/4c water and 2 eggs. dropped on cookie sheet bake 9 minutes@ 375. frost and decorate) Of course each year I had to add more cookies because the little darlin' took one  to each of the teachers he had in prev. years, along with the principal, secretaries and the nurse. Even when he was in 6th grade and still at the  elementary school, we did this, It made him happy, took care of the problem and that's all that matter'd and   it was cheap.. 2 boxes of cake mix, frosting and sprinkles. plus all his friends could celebrate with him. This stopped  upon graduation and progression to middle school. Speaking of Tyler and his birthday.. it is 9 mos to  driver's permit.. hi-lights here I come. the grey hairs are  starting to peek out.

Well you guys remember my ordeal with Adam's car? Well I called today to tell the credit union lady I was going to send my POA to the Navy Credit Union as well and I have some checks of his here at the house, so I was going to get his permission of course and write out a check for the amount he owes. Well the lady from our credit union called and back said that there is 400 comig to them at the beginning of April. So I won't have to do that but now I have to change the due dates for him so that it will be all okay. I am so happy it is all getting resolved now. He is out to sea now and no way of getting a hold of him. On one of my other sites, the Hawaii one, one of the moms contacted him for me and told him to email me from the ship. It is nice to have people on here to help whenever you need them. This girl must be in the Navy as well because she contacted the Chief on his ship, discretely, and told him to tell Adam to contact as soon as he could. I am so thankful for her and everyone on here as well. I am thankful things are getting resolved too.
